Fujin, located in the northeast of Heilongjiang Province and the South Bank of the lower reaches of Songhua River, is the central city in the hinterland of Sanjiang Plain. Fujin is a national first-class open port city connected by railway, highway and waterway. Historical evolution
Fujin, formerly known as "fukejin", was transferred from "futiwei" or "futixiwei" in Ming Dynasty. In Qing Dynasty, it was called "Fu Ti Xin" (also known as "Fu Ti Xin") and "Fu Ti Xi", which means "Gao Gang" in Hezhe language. In the late Qing Dynasty, it was called "fukejin" in Chinese.
Zhou belonged to nanshenbu, Tang belonged to Heishui dududufu, Liao belonged to the five kingdoms of Nuzhen, Dongjing Dao, metal Shangjing Huli gailu, Yuan belonged to shuidada Road, Liaoyang Xingsheng province.
In 1409, the seventh year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, a futiwei was set up. After the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, in order to further strengthen the border defense, before and after the establishment of nurgandu division, additional guard stations were added. Among them, futiwei was set up in Yiyou in the seventh year of Yongle (1409) in May, under the command of Tashi, a member of the tribe, and under the jurisdiction of nurgandu. On August 12, 1945, the Red Army of the Soviet Union and the Northeast Anti Japanese United Army jointly liberated Fujin. It was a period of anarchy from August 13 to October in 1945, which was known by the masses as the "period of chaos in eight areas". During this period, on August 13, the local pseudo officials and squires organized the "temporary public order maintenance meeting of Fujin county". Some pseudo officials and squires tried to wait for the Kuomintang to accept Fujin and take the opportunity to come to power. On September 12, the "Fujin County Liberation Committee" (changed to Fujin Democratic League in early October) was established by some anti Japanese soldiers who had lost the organizational relationship with the Communist Party of China. After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, it was put under the jurisdiction of Hejiang province.

On June 23, 1949, Suibin county was incorporated into Fujin county with the approval of northeast administrative committee.
In August 1954, after the merger of song and Hei provinces, Fujin county was subordinate to Hejiang District of Heilongjiang Province.
