Yi'an County Yi'an county is a county of Qiqihar City in Heilongjiang Province. It is located in 124 ° 50 ′~ 125 ° 42 ′ e, 47 ° 16 ′~ 48 ° 2 ′ n. It is located in the southern foot of Daxing'an Mountains and the northern edge of Songnen Plain. It is a low hilly wavy plain and is a county under the jurisdiction of Qiqihar city. As of 2014, Yian county has a total area of 3685 square kilometers, with 205000 hectares of cultivated land. In 2014, Yian County governed 15 townships and 148 administrative villages. Yian county has a population of 494000 (2013), with 18% of non-agricultural population. It is one of the important commodity grain base counties in China.

Historical evolution
In the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, Yi'an county was a nomadic place for the Chen people.
The Qin, Han, Three Kingdoms and Jin dynasties belong to Fuyu and beifuyu.
The southern and Northern Dynasties were the states of kouman Han.
The Sui and Tang Dynasties belonged to the northern gate of Heishui.
The Five Dynasties and Song Dynasty were the territories of Khitan.

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Longjiang Road of Heilongjiang Province. On October 23, 1923, according to the approval of Heilongjiang provincial governor's office, Yian county was established to set up the Administration Bureau and Longquan Town (Yilong town).
On January 5, 1929, Yi'an county was promoted to the third class County, which was renamed the County Office (later the county government). On October 15 of the same year, Heilongjiang Province ordered the fourth district (Tai'an town) to be assigned to Keshan County.
On December 1, 1934, the first year of Kant in Manchukuo, a new provincial system was implemented, which was subordinate to the puppet Longjiang Province (Qiqihar City, the provincial capital). On June 1, 1939, it was under the jurisdiction of the puppet Bei'an province (Beian street, the capital of the province, is now Beian city). On September 1, 1941, Taian street and other places were zoned back from Keshan County. In October of the same year, the county office moved from Longquan Town (changed to Yi'an Village) to Tai'an Street (today's Yi'an town), which is located on the North Bank of Wuyur. It is an important town on the North (Bei'an) railway line of Qiqihar.
On November 13, 1945, it returned to Heilongjiang Province (the provincial capital is now Beian city). On December 31 of the same year, Yi'an county was liberated.
On January 1, 1946, a democratic government was established as the political, economic, cultural and transportation center of Yi'an county.
February 4, 1947, belongs to Heilongjiang, Nenjiang joint province (referred to as "heinen province", the provincial capital of Qiqihar City) the first zone. On September 16 of the same year, it returned to Heilongjiang Province and changed its name to Tai'an County on October 18.
On May 15, 1949, Yi'an County belonged to Heilongjiang Province.

Yi'an county is located in the west of Heilongjiang Province, southwest of Xiaoxing'an Mountains, north edge of Songnen Plain and northeast of Qiqihar city. It is bounded by Baiquan County in the East, Fuyu County in the west, Keshan County and Nehe County in the north, Lindian county and Mingshui County in the south.
