Evolution of organizational system

In the Yuan Dynasty, Nanyuan Township in the east of Fengtai belonged to Daxing County, Liangxiang County in the south of Beigong in the west, and most of the middle belonged to Wanping county.
In the Ming Dynasty, Nanyuan Township to the east of YouAnMen belonged to Daxing County, Fangshan County to the north of Wangzuo and Dahuichang in the west, and Liangxiang county to the south of Wangzhuang quecun.
In the late Qing Dynasty, the east of Fengtai Town and the north of dahongmen were divided into urban areas.
In June 1928, the eastern part of Fengtai District belonged to the southern suburb, while the central and western parts belonged to Wanping County, Fangshan County and Liangxiang county respectively.
In January 1949, Fengtai, Changxindian, Nanyuan and nearby areas were assigned to Beiping City, and district level people's governments were successively established. In April of the same year, Beiping city was divided into three districts: Nanyuan district was the 23rd District, Fengtai District was the 25th District, and Changxindian district was the 26th district. In June of the same year, the former area 15 and area 23 were merged into area 14, the southern part of the former area 16 was merged into area 25 to become area 15, and the former area 26 was changed into area 18.
In June 1950, the 18 districts of Beijing (Changxindian) were merged into the 15th district after the Beijing Municipal People's government reported to the Government Affairs Council of the Central People's government for approval. In 1952, Wanping county was abolished and Fengtai District, Nanyuan district and Shijingshan District were established, which were subordinate to Beijing.
In 1958, Nanyuan district and Shijingshan District were merged into Fengtai District.
In 1963, Shijingshan District was separated from Fengtai District and established Shijingshan office. Five streets, namely Beixin'an, Jinding street, Pingguoyuan, guangningfen and xingucheng, were transferred from Fengtai District to Shijingshan office.
