geographical environment
Location context
Ganjingzi District is adjacent to Jinzhou District in the northeast, Shahekou District in the south, Lushunkou District in the southwest, Yellow Sea in the East and south, Bohai Sea in the north. It is between 38 ° 47 ′ - 39 ° 07 ′ N and 121 ° 16 ′ - 121 ° 45 ′ e, 40 km long from east to west and 35 km wide from north to south, with a total area of 502 square kilometers.
geological structure
Like Liaodong Peninsula, the geology and geomorphology of Ganjingzi area were shaped by the evolution of Anshan movement, Yanliao movement, Caledonian movement, Variscan movement, Indosinian movement, Yanshan movement and Himalayan tectonic movements. The area is located in the composite part of the latitudinal structural belt and the second giant uplift belt of the Neocathaysian system, with complex geological structure. According to the age of formation and the characteristics of rock association, the strata in the area can be divided into four stratigraphic systems: Qingbaikou system, Sinian system, Cambrian system and quaternary system. Qingbaikou formation is not complete, only Nanfen formation is exposed. Sinian strata are most widely distributed, Cambrian strata are not developed, only the lower series. Quaternary strata are well developed, including middle and upper Pleistocene and Holocene. Most of the rocks in the area are sedimentary rocks, mainly carbonaceous salts, followed by clay rocks and siliceous rocks. These rocks are all subjected to slight regional metamorphism, forming metamorphic rocks, such as quartzite, marble, phyllite, etc. In addition, there are limestone formed by marine sediments and coastal sediments. The intrusive rocks are only diabase. The distribution of rocks is generally bounded by the North Road of Luda highway, the south is mainly quartzite and slate, and a small part of limestone and diabase are mixed near the highway; the north is mostly limestone, and some intrude into a small part of basic rocks.
topographic features
Ganjingzi District is located in the south of Liaodong Peninsula, which is the southwest extension of Qianshan Mountains. It is adjacent to the Bohai Sea in the north and the Yellow Sea in the south, forming a hilly Peninsula terrain between the two seas. Dalian isthmus, the narrowest one between Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea, is only 4.6 km, in the northeast of Dalian Bay and Maoyingzi. The first level watershed extends from northeast to East, from Daheishan in Jinzhou to Ganjingzi District, which is mainly composed of Yantongshan, Luotuoshan, Langshan, dashengshan, ANZISHAN, lazishan, sidawangshan, Laozuoshan and Chengshan. The water system on the north side of the watershed flows into the Bohai Sea, and the water system on the South side flows into the Yellow Sea.
The southwest part of Ganjingzi District is relatively high, extending from northwest to Southeast. To the north of Chengshan, there are Yushan, wudingshan, jiangjunwang, Heishishan, bojishan and paotaishan to the Bohai Sea Diaoyutai; to the south of Chengshan, there are anziling, Hengshan, laoyaowo, Jiguanshan, 271.4 highlands to the Yellow coast. These mountains form a secondary watershed. There are Hengshan, waishilazi, pingdingguan and jiansishan in the watershed of Malan River and Lingshui River, which is a three-level watershed and basically extends from east to west. But the third grade watershed of Yingchengzi town is northwest. The upper and middle reaches of Xiajia River are in the direction of southwest, and in the direction of Gezhenpu, they flow to the northwest, making a 90 degree turn. Xinzhaizi gezhenbao is flat.
The coastline of Ganjingzi District is 148.68 km, of which the land coastline is 139.6 km. According to the sea, the Yellow Sea area is 76 km, and the geological structure is mostly bedrock bank; the Bohai Sea area is 636 km, and the geological structure is half bedrock bank and half sand bank. The coastline of the island is 9.08 km. The Yellow coast section from Xiaoping Island to laopian island has flat seabed topography, steep coast, water depth of about 40 meters, and the sediment is mainly mud, mud sand and gravel. The submarine topography of Dalian Bay is inclined from northwest to Southeast, with mud bottom and a little mud sand bottom and reef bottom. From huanglongweizui to the direction of Ant Island, the section of Bohai Coast is 20 km straight line. The terrain is flat, the water depth is not more than 15 meters, most of them are 5 meters up and down, most of the bottom material is mud sand bottom, some are mud bottom, reef bottom, and a small amount of gravel bottom.
Climatic characteristics
Ganjingzi region is located in the warm temperate zone of the northern hemisphere and the east coast of the Eurasian continent. It has a warm temperate semi humid continental monsoon climate and marine climate. There is no severe cold in winter, no severe heat in summer, concentrated rainfall and obvious monsoon. The annual average temperature is about 10 ℃, the annual extreme maximum temperature is about 35 ℃, the annual extreme minimum temperature is - 28 ℃ ~ - 18 ℃, and the frost free period is 180 ~ 200 days. The annual rainfall is 550-800mm, which is more in dry years than in flood years. Because it is located in the East Asian monsoon region, the number of gale days with force 7 or above is 40-65 days in coastal area and 10-20 days in inland area.
