Huozhou is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Shanxi Province, which is managed by Linfen City. Historical evolution
Hundreds of thousands of years ago, the territory has been inhabited by ancient people, belonging to the early human culture of the Paleolithic age. There are archaeological discoveries in Yonghe village and hongyapu village on the East Bank of Fenhe River.
In Xia and Shang Dynasties, Huo was still the land of Jizhou.
In the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty, King Wu of Zhou granted his brother and uncle Huo state. Because there is water in the territory, it is also called * *. The capital is in the area of Chen Village, Bailong Town, on the West Bank of Fenhe River.
In the spring and Autumn period, Duke Xian of Jin led the army to destroy Huo in 661 BC, and Duke AI of Huo Ran to Qi. Huo's land came back to Jin and was called Huoyi.
In the Warring States period, in 453 BC, Han, Zhao and Wei were divided into Jin, Huo Yi first belonged to Wei, then to Han. Han General Feng Ting and his party descended to Zhao, and Huo belonged to Zhao.
In 221 BC, Qin unified the whole country and divided it into 36 counties. Huoyi belonged to Hedong county.

In the eighth year of Wei Zhengshi (247), ten counties of fenbei in Hedong were designated as Pingyang County, which belonged to Yong'an. In the first year of Jianyi in the Northern Wei Dynasty (528), Yongan county was established and Yongan county and Yangxian county were under its jurisdiction. Yongan city was set up in the county.
Sui kaihuang 16 years (596), home Fenzhou, Yongan is. In 598, Fenzhou was changed to Luzhou and Yongan to Huoyi. Daye three years (607) strike Yizhou, Huoyi Jinzhou.
