Hebei District, Hebei District, is part of Tianjin, one of the central cities of Tianjin, located in the northeast of Tianjin. Hebei District is named for its location in the north of Haihe River. Historical evolution
Hebei District is one of the earliest areas in Tianjin city to retreat from the sea and become a land. It had been settled in the Warring States period and the Sui and Tang Dynasties.
In the Yuan Dynasty, Hebei was under the jurisdiction of Wuqing County, Guozhou, Dadu road.
In 1316, Haijin town was established in Zhigu, Hebei Province.
In the second year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1404), Tianjin Wei was set up in Zhigu. The area outside the east gate and the north gate of the Wei Cheng belonged to Wuqing County of shuntianfu.

In 1958, Tianjin put jianguodao Street (south of Xinglong Street) in Hebei District into Heping District, with 40235 residents.
