Chongzhou, formerly known as Shuzhou, is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, which is managed by Chengdu. It is adjacent to Wenjiang District and Shuangliu District in the East, Xinjin District in the south, Dayi County in the west, Dujiangyan City in the north and Wenchuan County in the northwest.
Chongzhou (called Shuzhou in ancient times) is the place where Laozi thought was founded and carried forward. Chongzhou city has a long history. Historical evolution
Chongzhou city has a long history. In 206 BC (the first year of emperor Gaozu of Han Dynasty), Jiangyuan county was set up; in Jin Dynasty, Hanyuan County was set up; later, Jinyuan county was changed.
In 686 ad (the second year of Emperor Wu Zetian of Tang Dynasty), Shuzhou was set up, leading Jinyuan, Tanglong, Qingcheng and Xinjin;
The 10th year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1140) was promoted to Chongqing military Festival. Chongzhou city is located in the west of West Sichuan Plain in the middle and upper reaches of Minjiang River, between 103 ° 07 '- 103 ° 49' e and 30 ° 30 '- 30 ° 53' n. The high and middle mountain areas above 1000 meters above sea level account for 38.4% of the total area of Chongzhou City, the low mountains and hills account for 8.7%, and the flat dam account for 52.9%. The terrain rises gradually from southeast to northwest. There are more than 2000 meters above sea level peaks in the northwest. There are three main rivers in Chongzhou: Xihe River, Heishi River and Jinma River.
The Xihe River originates from the northern foot of huoshaoying in Gou's hometown, flows eastward from yaoziyan mountain pass to the plain, and reaches the confluence of Weijiang River, ganwuli River and pojiang River in Yuantong. Yuantong is also called wenjingjiang. From Yuantong to Southeast, there are Shagou River, Xiangyang River and Baima River. Mengdu, which flows southward through Sanjiang Town, enters Xinjin district. With a total length of 109 km and a length of 96.8 km, it flows through 14 villages and towns and is the longest river in Chongzhou city.
Heishi River, also known as "Heishi River", flows into the city at LiuJie Township, Dujiangyan City, flows southward through nine townships, and converges with Yangma river at Sanjiang bridge and flows into Xinjin District, with a total length of 65 km and 32.15 km in the city.
