Haixing County Haixing County is subordinate to Cangzhou City, located in the southeast of Hebei Province, on the coast of the Bohai Sea. It was founded in 1965. It is a combination of the marginal poor villages of Wudi County in Shandong Province, Huanghua County in Hebei Province, and Yanshan County in Hebei Province. It is named after the meaning of "Prospering by the sea". In the early period of Yanhuang, it was Chiyou of Dongyi and Wudi of pugu in Shang Dynasty.
The Western Zhou Dynasty belongs to the state of Qi, and the spring and Autumn period and Warring States period changed between Qi and Yan.
In the Qin Dynasty, it belonged to Liu County of Qi county and Jibei County successively. It is said that part of the area belongs to Yanci county (Shizhi: Shentou Town, now Lingxian county), which needs further research.
In the Han Dynasty, it belonged to Liu county (during which the state of liuhou was changed), Gaocheng county (the predecessor of Yanshan, governing Zhaocun, the ancient city of Yanshan), and Zhangwu County (governing Guxian village of Huanghua).
The Wei, Jin and Northern and Southern Dynasties belonged to Zhangwu County and Gaocheng county respectively.
In Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties, it belonged to Yanshan County (now Huanghua Old Town Village) and Wudi County (Qingyun County yujiadian Village). Haixing County has always been between Yanshan and Wudi, and its boundary has changed many times, which is difficult to check.
In song and Jin Dynasties, it was located in Yanshan County (now Huanghua Old Town Village) and Wudi County (now Wudi Chengjiao Village).
The Yuan Dynasty is located in Yanshan County, Cangzhou, Hejian Road, Zhongshu province (now Huanghua Old City Village), Wudi County, Jinan Road, Dizhou.
The Ming Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of Yanshan County, Hejian Prefecture, the capital of the Ming Dynasty (Governance: Dongyu, now Yanshan County), and Haifeng County, Jinan Prefecture, Shandong Province (Governance: now Wudi old city).
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Yanshan County, Tianjin Prefecture, and Haifeng County, Wuding Prefecture, Shandong Province.
After 1928, it belonged to Haijin Road, Yanshan County, Hebei Province and Wuding Road, Wudi County, Shandong Province.
In August 1943, in memory of Yang Jingyuan, the county magistrate who died in 1939 in Dazhao village, Xuguan District, the Fourth District of Yanshan County (yangerzhuang District), now in Huanghua City, Yanshan County was changed into Jingyuan County.
In April 1958, the county was located in Yanshan County, Tianjin District, Hebei Province and Wudi County, Zibo District, Shandong Province.

In December 1967, Cangzhou district was renamed Cangzhou area.

In August 1943, Yanshan County was changed to Jingyuan County in memory of Yang Jingyuan, the county magistrate who died. County jurisdiction is divided into two, three and four districts of Xinhai County, one and three districts of Jingyuan County and four and five districts of Wudi County.
In 1949, Jingyuan County was renamed Yanshan County. County jurisdiction is divided into six districts (Gaowan) and seven districts (zhaomaotao) of Yanshan County, four and five districts of Wudi County and two and three districts of Huanghua County.
In November 1964, Xinji, Lianghu, Shanhou, song Wang, Zhu Wang, Fu Zhao and Yang Cheng, seven communities and 51 natural villages on the left bank of the Sinusi Jianhe river (Zhangweixin River), which belongs to Wudi County, Shandong Province, were put under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province.
On March 27, 1965, the State Council approved the establishment of Haixing County. On June 26, Haixing County was officially established in Xiaoshan. Haixing County is the former administrative region of Yanshan County and Huanghua County, and the area temporarily under the jurisdiction of Yanshan County. There are 13 communes, 3 farms and 180 natural villages in Haixing County. The county government initially planned to be stationed in Xiaoshan, and later decided to be stationed in Suji.
In 1980, there were 12 people's communes in Haixing County, including Suji, Gaowan, zhanghuiting, zhaomaotao, Xiaoshan, Dingcun, Fuzhao, Zhuwang, Xiangfang, youzhuangzi, Guoqiao and Xinji, and 4 state-owned farms in Haixing County.
In 1983 and 1984, the communes were changed into townships and towns, and kongzhuangzi township was added.
