However, there is about 200 meters of deep water shoreline in the Sanjiangkou area.
Ecological resources
Dagang District has a good ecological outlook and rich landscape resources. There are more than 10 large and small mountains distributed in the area, including kuaishan, Qinglongshan, qiaomaishan, Hengshan, yandunshan, Yinshan, etc., with an area of 1300 hectares. water resource
The water body in Dagang area is mainly the Yangtze River and some river systems, which belong to tidal reach. The water quality of the main stream of the Yangtze River is generally good, reaching the national surface water class II standard. Zhenjiang new area has formed a unique transportation pattern of river sea river transport and perfect transportation pattern of rail, highway and water transport. The South Jiangsu and Zhejiang sections of the canal can pass 500 ton barges all the year round, and the North Jiangsu and Shandong sections can pass 2000 ton barges. Due to the large traffic volume (equivalent to 60% of the annual traffic volume of the Yangtze River), low freight (only one sixth of the railway freight) and the connection with major economic cities in eastern China, the canal has become a major waterway artery connecting the north and the south in eastern China.
