Haiyan County Haiyan County, subordinate to Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, is one of the earliest counties in Zhejiang Province. The county was established in the 25th year of the reign of the king of Qin (222 BC). It is named after "the seashore is widely denounced, and the salt fields are facing each other.".
Since the founding of the county, Haiyan has moved to the county four times and analyzed its territory six times.
At the end of the Qin Dynasty, the county was converted into a lake (Zhehu) and moved to Wuyuan township.
