Aimin District Aimin district is under the jurisdiction of Mudanjiang city. It is located in the northwest of Mudanjiang city. With binsui railway line as the boundary, it is adjacent to Xi'an District, Dong'an district and Yangming District, and other surrounding areas are adjacent to Hailin City. Historical evolution
Mudanjiang is under the jurisdiction of the city. after the establishment of Mudanjiang City in 1937, it belongs to the Northern District of Mudanjiang city. After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, Jinling district was set up. In 1949, Aimin street was renamed Aimin district. In January 1952, Aimin district and Qixing district were merged into the first district. In September 1954, the first and fourth neighborhood committees were put under the jurisdiction of the newly established fourth district. In September 1956, the organizational system of the district was abolished and Xinhua, Qixing and other sub district offices were set up. In January 1958, the sub district office was abolished and Aimin district was re established. in 1970, Aimin district was renamed united people's commune, and in October of the same year, it was renamed Aimin district.
