Historical evolution
During the period of the Republic of China, Xinxing district was under the jurisdiction of Boli County, which successively belonged to xiaowuzhanbao, the third district and xiaowuzhan town. After the fall of Northeast China, it was attached to the 11th class. In May 1938, the Japanese aggressors occupied civilian areas and established the Qitaihe development site.
