Songshan District Songshan District is a municipal district of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Chifeng City. It is located in the east of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with the regional scope of 117 ° 47 ′ - 119 ° 39 ′ E and 42 ° 01 ′ - 42 ° 43 ′ n. On April 18, 2019, the people's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region decided to withdraw Songshan District from the sequence of poverty-stricken counties.
Evolution of organizational system
During the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, in the 12th year of King Yanzhao (300 BC), the area belongs to youbeiping county.
In Qin Dynasty, this area belongs to youbeiping county.
At the beginning of the Western Han Dynasty, it belonged to Xiongnu, and later to tingling county.
The Sui and Tang dynasties belong to Rao Ledu governor's office. In the 22nd year of Tang Zhenguan (648), Rao Ledu governor's office was set up in Xi Prefecture, which belongs to the district.
Songshan county was set up in the second year of Kaitai (1013), and Songshan Prefecture, Gaozhou and Sanhan county were set up in the middle of Kaitai.
In 1197, Jingfeng county was established.
In 1262, Songshan Prefecture was changed into Songzhou and led by Songshan county. In 1265, Songshan county was merged into Songzhou. In June 1307, it was the pasture of the king of Lu.
In August of the 20th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1387), the eastern part belonged to daningwei; in the 22nd year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1389), the western part belonged to quanningwei; in the first year of Tianshun (1457), it belonged to duoyanwei of wuliangha Sanwei.
In 1636, the first year of later Jin Chongde, the right wing banner of Wengniute was set up. In the 39th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1774) of the Qing Dynasty, the general judgment Hall of the director of Wulanhada was set up. In March of the 43rd year of Emperor Qianlong (1778), the hall of Wulanhada was changed to Chifeng county. In December 1907, Chifeng county was upgraded to Chifeng Zhili Prefecture.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), the state was removed and the county was changed. In January 1940, Chifeng county was merged into the puppet Wengniute Right Banner. In August 1945, Wengniute Right Banner was changed into Chifeng county. Chixi county was established in October 1946, and Chifeng City was incorporated into Chifeng County in October 1947. In September 1948, Chifeng county was divided into Chifeng City and Chixi county was merged into Chifeng county.
In October 1958, the county was removed and the city was established. In September 1962, Chifeng county was set up. In October 1983, Chifeng city implemented the management system of city Governing County, and changed Chifeng County into the suburb of Chifeng City. In July 1993, with the approval of the State Council, the suburb was renamed Songshan District.
