Tiandeng County, located in Southwest Guangxi, belongs to Chongzuo city. It is adjacent to Longan County and Pingguo city in the East, Daxin County in the south, Jingxi city in the west, Debao county and Tiandong County in the north. In 1952, it was merged into zhendu county from Zhenxiang county and Longming county. In 1957, it was changed into Tiandeng county. Tiandeng Town, the county seat, is 125 kilometers away from Nanning, the capital of the autonomous region, and the southwest County boundary is 9 kilometers away from the nearest border between China and Vietnam. There are more than 30 scenic spots in Tiandeng county. The most famous natural scenery are: Lichuan Duxiu Peak, deyuelou, paitihu and Longpan mountain near the county; Baxian Mountain, Guanyin Mountain in Longming, Wanfu mountain and baiganyan in Xiangdu; Xianqiao. In Song Dynasty, there were Jimi longying, jie'antong, Quanming, Mingying, Zhenyuan, Xiangwu, Dukang, Xianxiang and Huaihua. Xiangwu, Dukang and Xuanzhou belong to Guangnan West Road, Yongzhou hengshanzhaizhi is located in today's Tiandong County, and the rest belong to Yongzhou taipingzhaiyan is located in today's Chongzuo county.
In Yuan Dynasty, longyingdong was changed to longyingzhou, jieandong was changed to jieanzhou, Jilun and dujiezhou, Huaihua was changed to upper Huaien, and other states followed. Xiangwu and Dukang belong to Yongzhou, Tianzhou road administration is located in today's Tianyang County, Zhenan road administration is located in today's Debao County, and other States belong to Taiping Road.
In the Ming Dynasty, Huaien Prefecture was abolished and the remaining tuzhou states followed. At the beginning of Xiangwu state, it belonged to Tianzhou road. In 1651, it was promoted to the government, and became the Chief Secretary of Guangxi. At the beginning of Dukang Prefecture, it belonged to Tianzhou Prefecture. In the first year of Jianwen, it was directly under the administrative department of Guangxi. It is located in Wuming County, and the rest of tuzhou is Taiping mansion of Zuojiang road.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was followed by the States. Xiangwu, Dukang and xuantu prefectures belong to zuojiandao Zhen'an Prefecture, while other prefectures belong to Taiping sishundao Taiping Prefecture.
In the fifth year of the Republic of China (September 1916), longying, Quanming and Mingying prefectures were merged into Longming County, and the former Longming prefectures ruled longying street; Jilun, Dujie, Zhenyuan and Jiean prefectures were merged into Zhenjie County, and the former Jilun prefectures ruled Jinjie street. In the sixth year of the Republic of China, Xiangwu, Dukang and zhangtuzhou were merged into Xiangdu County, and the former Xiangwu tuzhou was governed by Zhonghe street. Longming and Zhenjie counties belong to Zhennan Road, Xiangdu county belongs to Tiannan Road, and the three counties later belong to Tianbao district. On December 15, 1949, Longming county was liberated, belonging to Longzhou special area. On the same month 23, Zhenjie county was liberated, belonging to Wuming special area. On January 31, 1950, Xiangdu county was liberated, first belonging to Wuming district and then to Baise district. In June 1951, Zhenjie county and Xiangdu county were divided into Zhenjie county and Xiangdu County, and all the Dalong District of Zhenjie county was given to Pingguo County. The former Zhenjie county was governed by the former Zhenjie County, and now Jinjie street was governed by the county, belonging to Baise special district.
In September 1951, Zhenxiang county and Longming county were merged into zhendu County, with Tiandeng town in Longming County as the county governance, which first belonged to Chongzuo special region, then to Yongning special region and Guixi Zhuang Autonomous Prefecture. In April 1953, DUJIE district was assigned to Longan County, Quanming district to Daxin County, gancha District in April, and fengma, Shuangyan and Naya townships to Tiandong County in July.
In January 1955, jieliu township of Pingguo County was assigned to zhendu County; in July 1956, Fenli township of Dujie District of Long'an county was assigned to zhendu County; in April 1957, longyantun township of Long'an county was assigned to Fenli township of zhendu county.
On April 17, 1957, the State Council approved that zhendu county should be renamed Tiandeng County, and Tiandeng Town, which belongs to Yongning District, was renamed Tiandeng town. In July 1958, nongzhatun of Jiuhan township was assigned to Naling township of Daxin County.
In December 1958, Tiandeng county and Daxin County merged into Xinying County, which was later changed into Longming County, and the county government was in longying street.
In May 1959, Longming county was abolished and Tiandeng and Daxin counties were restored, belonging to Nanning special district. In 1970, Nanning area was changed to Nanning area, and Tiandeng county belongs to Nanning area. Chongzuo city was officially established on August 6, 2003. Since then, Tiandeng county belongs to Chongzuo city.
In 1964, Tiannan, pinli and Mengyang townships of Pingguo County were assigned to Jinjie District of Tiandeng county.

Tiandeng county is dominated by low mountains and hills, covering an area of 1696.42 square kilometers, accounting for 77.98% of the total area. Among them, earth mountain accounts for 22.60% of the total area; limestone mountain accounts for 41.50% of the total area; siliceous limestone mountain accounts for 10.31% of the total area; half earth and half Stone Mountain accounts for 3.57% of the total area. The terrain of the county is high in the southwest and low in the northeast. The highest point is the main peak of sichengling in the southwest, with an altitude of 1073.7 meters. The Taiping River, formerly known as the Kurong River, originated from the hanruolan reservoir in Jilan village, Bahe township.
