In Dahua County, two national large-scale hydropower stations with a total installed capacity of 1.776 million kilowatts have been built. Yantan Hydropower Station is the fifth stage of Hongshui River cascade development. It is the first large-scale hydropower station with a capacity of over one million kilowatts in Guangxi. The main structures of the project are composed of barrage, powerhouse behind the dam, switch station and vertical ship lift.
