Historical evolution
In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, the local grass-roots established the Gao regiment system. Today, the administrative region of Qingxiu district belongs to Xuanhua County, Nanning Prefecture. In 1913, it was renamed nanfukuo regiment of Yongning County. In the 21st year of the Republic of China, Yongning County began to set up a Preparatory Committee for local self-government, which investigated the household registration of the whole county by districts, established local organizations of a, village (street), township (town) and district, and implemented the Baojia system. In March of the next year, the investigation was completed and the whole county was compiled as a whole. 7808a, 766 villages (streets) and 68 townships (towns); it is divided into 7 districts, the urban area belongs to the Central District, and XiXiangTang, Ertang and Dongmen are divided into Dongmen Township, which is under the jurisdiction of the central district. By the 23rd year of the Republic of China, 10 towns had been established. In the later urban area, there were Weixin, Ningwu, Mingde, Linjiang, Yongjiang and Dongmen townships, with a total of 7 towns under their jurisdiction.
Before liberation, there was no Linjiang town in Qingxiu district. It has jurisdiction over the first street and second street of Zhongshan Road, the first street, Second Street, Third Street and fourth street of Linjiang street, the first street and second street of Nanguo street, the first street, Nanyili and nansanli of Jingwen street, the first street, Second Street and Qisheng street of Taoyuan Road, the first village and second village of guchengkou, and the second village of Zhongshan Middle East, with a total of 1975 households and 10475 people. Mingde town has jurisdiction over the first and second streets of Minquan Road, the third and East Second streets of Zhongshan Road, the fifth street of Gonghe Road, the first, second and third streets of Mingde street, and the first, second, third and South first streets of Minzu road. Ningwu town governs Huqiu village, Shajing street, Zhenning road first street, Second Street and Ningwu street. Dongmen Township governs lingtie village, Guantang village, jinniuqiao village, Ma Village, Dongbei village, Xinan village, Changcun village, etc.
On the eve of the liberation of Nanning in 1949, the urban area was reorganized into seven towns, with 64 administrative streets under its jurisdiction. Today, Qingxiu district is under the jurisdiction of Yongnan town and Ningwu town. It has jurisdiction over the administrative villages (streets) of South, south ring, Linsheng, Minhe (the first section of Gonghe Road), Mingde, Rendong, Zhongshan, reform, Jingwen, Weiwu, Nanguo, Taoyuan, Linjiang, guchengkou, etc.
Nanning was liberated on December 4, 1949. The Nanning Municipal military control commission of the Chinese people's Liberation Army was set up on the 22nd to take over the work. Nanning Municipal People's government was formally established on January 22, 1950. It continued to take over the old regime and gradually removed the old Jiejia regime. On May 21, 1951, the Municipal People's government issued a clear order to remove the old Jiejia regime and gradually established the residents' groups. The anti American and aid Korea branch was responsible for the daily work of streets without residents' groups. On November 1, 1952, the pilot establishment of street committees in Minzu Road (including the first section of Gonghe Road) began. The original 64 administrative streets in the city were divided into 30 neighborhood committees. In today's Qingxiu District, there are Taoyuan, Linjiang, Zhongshan, Linsheng, Minzu (including the first section of Gonghe Road), Mingde (including Rendong street and QUANNAN Street), Nanguo (including Jingwen street and Weiwu Road), Nanhuan, reform and other residents' committees.
Before the establishment of the district level political power, it was implemented for a period of time that "the police replaced the government", and the police station was responsible for the street work within the jurisdiction. Therefore, all the tasks of the grass-roots political power were actually in the charge of Xuanhua, Linjiang, and reform police stations. At the end of 1952, the fourth, fifth and sixth districts were set up in the urban area of Nanning. Today Qingxiu district is the Fourth District, which is composed of Xuanhua, Linjiang and Mingde police stations, including 14 streets, including Nanhuan, Linjiang, Minzu, Gonghe (the first section of Gonghe Road), Mingde, QUANNAN, Rendong, Zhongshan (the first section), Weiwu, Taoyuan, Linjiang and guchukou. The area is a place where military and political organs are concentrated, and the provincial military and political leaders also live here.
In March 1953, Nanning city decided to merge the first, second and third districts established in the former suburbs into one district, and establish two, three and four districts in the urban area. With the consent of the people's Government of Guangxi Province, all districts were established on March 16. Qingxiu District, originally designated as the Fourth District, is now renamed the Second District, with Jin Likun as the head of the district. The office address of the district government is located at 55 Linsheng street. In addition, a residents' committee has been set up in lingtie village, which is under the jurisdiction of District 2. When the second district was founded, the population was 7493 households and 29322 people.
In December 1955, according to the resolution of the second session of the first people's Congress of Nanning city on revoking the political power organizations at the urban level and establishing the sub district offices, Nanning City revoked the political power in three urban areas and established 13 sub district offices. The sub district office is composed of 5-7 people. As the agency of the Municipal People's Committee, it is responsible for the work of street residents, and adjusts the original residents committee according to the provisions of the central government on establishing a residents committee for 100-600 households and 7-17 residents groups. After the former two districts were abolished, four sub district offices, namely, the reform, Ningwu, Linjiang and Zhongshan, were established in the present Qingxiu district. The new sub district office is located at No. 40 Nanguo street. It has jurisdiction over Weixin, Weixin south, Jingwen, Weiwu and Nanning. The sub district office is located at No. 21 and 28 Xinmin Road. It has jurisdiction over Weixin north, wangzhouling, Anning north, Ningwu, Shajing and Zhenning residents committee members. Linjiang sub district office is located in baoai Shantang, baoai Road, under the jurisdiction of Zhongshan, Linjiang, Gucheng, Taoyuan, Hedi, Nanguo, Zhongshandong residents committee.
In July 1958, Nanning restored the first level political power in the urban area and set up Jiangning District. In July 1958, Jiangning District Working Committee was established. In March 1959, Jiangning District People's Committee (government) was formally established. It has jurisdiction over Zhongshan, Linjiang, reform, JianZheng, tingzi and Ningwu sub district offices. The pavilion on the South Bank of Yongjiang River is also under the jurisdiction of Jiangning District.
In June 1960, people's commune was established in Nanning City, and Jiangning District was renamed Jiangning District People's commune of Nanning city. In June 1961, it was restored to Jiangning District People's Committee. In January 1963, the former Jiangning District People's Committee was divided into Zhongshan, Gucheng and Nanhuan people's commune. Ningwu and tingzi offices were set aside, and the District People's Committee and sub district offices were abolished at the same time.
In January 1967, Nanhuan commune was called Hongqi people's commune, and Gucheng commune was renamed Xincheng people's commune. In April 1968, all the people's communes were called revolutionary committees of the people's communes.
In March 1979, the regime of the urban area was restored and the Revolutionary Committee of the new urban area was established. In May 1980, the people's Government of the new urban area was formally established.
In March 2005, the new urban area of Nanning was renamed Qingxiu district.
