Zhengxiang street has jurisdiction over seven communities: Honghu, wenjiatai, Lianhua, dayuantou, yanghuiqiao, Taiping community 1 and Taiping community 2. Hongxiang Street governs Xueyuan Road, Lianhe new village, metallurgy, Shiao, Jixiang, honghutang, Nanhua, Hengqi eight communities and Lianhe village committee. According to the sixth census in 2010, there are 298686 permanent residents in Zhengxiang District, including 40531 in Zhengxiang street, 76982 in Hongxiang street, 62028 in Huaxing street, 42196 in Lianhe street, 27810 in daiyingling Town, 30817 in Changhu Township and 18322 in Yumushan township.
In 2015, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs (xiangminxingfa No. 17) approved the cancellation of Yumushan Township and the establishment of Yumushan town. As of October 2011, there are more than 10 species of wild animals in Yumushan forest of Zhengxiang District, including pangolin, musk deer, tiger mosquito frog, white necked pheasant, silver pheasant and Raptor.
