Qiaokou District Qiaokou District is the municipal district of Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It is one of the seven central districts of Wuhan city and the core part of Hankou. It is located in the west of Hankou, Wuhan City, adjacent to the Yangtze River and Jianghan District in the East, Hanjiang River in the South and Hanyang District across the water, teluokou and ertouwan in the west, zhanggongdi in the north and Dongxihu District in the north, between 114 ° 9 ′~ 114 ° 17 ′ e and 30 ° 34 ′~ 30 ° 38 ′ n.

Historical evolution
In the middle of Ming Dynasty, people settled in Qiaokou, which was actually a floodplain of reeds outside Hanyang city.
In the Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, Hanyang government set up inspection department in Hankou Town, but the Department was still located in Hanyang.
During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, the inspection department of Hankou was moved from Hanyang to Hankou, and Hankou was officially separated from Hanyang in administration. In the late Qing Dynasty, Hankou was set up as Xiakou hall.
In 1912, Xiakou hall was changed to Xiakou county.
In October 1926, the national revolutionary army conquered Wuhan in the Northern Expedition and set up Hankou city in Xiakou County, which was subordinate to Hankou municipal government and Hankou special municipal government.
On May 16, 1949, Wuhan was liberated. In July of the same year, the Second District Committee of Wuhan city was established.
In November 1950, the people's Government of the Second District of Wuhan city was established to manage Qiaokou District.
In June 1952, the Second District of Wuhan city was renamed Qiaokou District, which governs 20 sub district people's governments.

During the period of the Republic of China, Changfeng area belonged to Zhanggong district. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Changfeng District Office was established.
In December 1949, five townships, Sanhe, Luojia, Silian, Duoluo and zhutai, were established.
In May 1951, Changfeng district was merged into the seventh district.
In February 1955, Changfeng township was transferred to Hanqiao district. There are 20 streets in Qiaokou District, and people's governments are set up in the streets.

In April 1958, after adjustment, Xijiao society was set up, with nine teams under its jurisdiction; in August, Xijiao society was divided into three vegetable farms in Dongxihu lake.

In September 2000, after adjustment, the original Hanzheng Street was renamed Chongren street, and the original Liji street, Sanshu street, Xin'an street and Baoqing street were merged to form Hanzheng Street.
