Pingtang County Pingtang county belongs to Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province. Historical evolution
Pingtang was established by local government in Tang Dynasty. It can be traced back to the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period for more than 2000 years, and only has a corresponding relationship with some local governments.
During the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period (722-221 BC), the princes were under separate regimes. Today, there were several chieftains in Southern Guizhou, such as Qielan, Wulian, Yaoyao, Yelang, and so on. Pingtang became its territory with the situation.
In the 33rd year of Emperor Qinshihuang (214 BC), Pingtang area belongs to Xiang county.
In the Han Dynasty, most of the southwest of Guizhou was a county of Yao county, with 17 counties including lingpingyi, Qielan, Yelang, tangao, Tanzhi and Wulian. The eastern part of Pingtang area belongs to Wulian County, while the western part belongs to Tanzhi county.
In 485 A.D., the eastern part of Pingtang belonged to Wulian County, and the western part belonged to Tanzhi county.
In the first year of Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty (581 A.D.), it was set up in Chouzhou. In the second year of Daye reign of emperor Yang, the name of Jue county was restored, and Jue county and Binhua county were administrated. Pingtang area belongs to Binhua county.
In the first year of Tang Zhenguan (627), the whole country was divided into ten roads, with jurisdiction over prefectures (counties) and counties at the same level. There are economic system states and Jimi states. In the third year of Zhenguan period, Southern Guizhou was established as southern Shouzhou. In the fourth year of Zhenguan, nanshouzhou was changed into Zhuangzhou, with jurisdiction over Shiniu, Le'an, Shicheng, Xin'an, duole, Qinglan, Nanyang and Qingshui counties. The eastern part of Pingtang area belongs to Shiniu County, and the western part belongs to Qinglan county. Zhuangzhou was a state of economic system at the beginning, but it was reduced to Jimi state in Kaiyuan (731-740). In Pingtang area, Nanping (Pingzhou, Pingzhou) and Dongzhou (Tongzhou) were the two Jimi states.
In the fifth year of Tianfu (940) of the Five Dynasties (907-960), Yin Huaichang, chief of Duyun, led his twelve tribes to submit to Ma Xifan, king of Chu. Pingtang area is under the jurisdiction of maxifan.
In 1228, the ninth year of shaoding reign of emperor LiZong of the Song Dynasty, Qingyuan Prefecture was set up, with jurisdiction over Pengshui and Qianjiang counties and 49 Jimi prefectures. Pingtang area is divided into two parts: Xunzhou and Nanping.
In 1290, Guizhou was divided into three provinces: Sichuan, Huguang and Yunnan. Eight fan Shun Yuan xuanweisidu Marshal's office, new Tiange ma'anfusi, Qingyuan nandanxidong army and people's pacification department all have territory in Pingtang, governing the whip and today's Tongzhou, Liudong, Yazhou, Xintang, Datang, Kedu, Tangbian and other towns.
At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the provincial government was abolished, and the Department of political envoys, the Department of capital command, the Department of criminal investigation, and the Department of consolation envoys were set up to manage the affairs of ethnic minorities. Guizhou belongs to Huguang, Sichuan and Yunnan. In the 11th year of Yongle (1413), Guizhou was set up as a political envoy. Since then, Guizhou has become a provincial administrative region.
In 1371, Guizhou Wei was set up, which had jurisdiction over 16 long lawsuits such as Jinzhu and Chengfan. Among them, eight long lawsuits such as dalongfan, xiaolongfan, Fangfan, Lufan, Weifan, wolongfan, Chengfan and luofan all had territory in Pingtang area.
In July of the 12th year of Chenghua (1476), Chengfan mansion was set up, which was under the jurisdiction of seventeen officials. Today, Datang is under the jurisdiction of Chengfan mansion. Hongzhi seven years (1494) in May, set Duyun military and civil command department, Pingzhou six hole officer division under Duyun.
In March of the 14th year of Wanli (1586), Dingfan Prefecture was established, belonging to Guiyang Prefecture, and Datang to Dingfan Prefecture. On April 11 of the fourth year of Tianqi (1624), Danping and Danxing were added to Duyun Prefecture.
In 1667, the Qing army entered Guizhou. At the beginning of the reign of Emperor Kangxi, the reform of the land was carried out. The Chief Secretary of Pingzhou Liudong, Dan Xingsi, Dan Pingsi, Liudong Ersi, yazhouxun, Datang lijiaozhou, etc. stopped attacking, removed and rebuilt one after another.
From the beginning of the Republic of China to the 24th year of the Republic of China, Guizhou was ruled by warlords. In the first year of the Republic of China, Duyun county was changed to Pingzhou Tanya (Pingzhou was changed to Pingzhou). In the third year of the Republic of China, Pingzhou county was replaced by Pingzhou County, and Datang county was replaced by Datang county.
In the 24th year of the Republic of China, the central army stationed in Guizhou, reorganized the provincial government, and the national government sent personnel to take over the power of Guizhou Province.
On July 1, 1930, Pingzhou and Datang counties were replaced by Pingtang County, which is a second-class county with TongZhou as its governing county. On August 15, Pingzhou county was rebuilt.
In November 1949, Pingtang was liberated and Pingtang County People's government was established. In August 1951, it was renamed Pingtang County National Democratic United Government. In 1951, it was changed into Pingtang County People's Committee.
In December 1958, Pingtang county was withdrawn and bounded by the caodu river. The river was merged into Luodian in the north and Dushan County in the south. Pingtang county was restored in August 1961.
In 1993, Pingtang county was divided into nine towns, namely Pinghu, Zemi, Sizhai, Bairu, Yazhou, Tongzhou, Datang, Kedu and Tangbian, and ten townships, namely Kapu, miaoerhe, Bailong, Zhangbu, ganzhai, Gudong, Xintang, Kaluo, rat farm and Xiliang.

Pingzhou town governs Lekang village, Xinquan village, Baike village, Huangping village, Longxing village, Jingzhou village, Donglian village, miaopan village, Miao village, tuzhai village, modaoshi village, ganzhai village, laquan village, jiha village and Xingmin village. The town people's government is stationed in modaoshi village.
