Yiyang County Yiyang County, subordinate to Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province and the middle reaches of Xinjiang River. It is adjacent to Hengfeng County in the East, Qianshan County in the south, Wannian county and Guixi City in the west, and Leping City and Dexing City in the north. Yiyang County is 27 kilometers wide from east to west and 76 kilometers long from north to south, with a total area of 1580 square kilometers and 17 towns (streets). History of construction

In the Western Zhou Dynasty, Yiyang County belonged to the state of Chufan; in the 16th year of King Jing of Zhou (504 BC), Wu conquered the state of Chufan and Yiyang belonged to Wu; in the 3rd year of King yuan of Zhou (473 BC), Yue destroyed Wu and Yiyang belonged to Yue; in the 46th year of King Xian of Zhou (323 BC), King Cheng of Chu attacked Yue and took Wu's native land. Yiyang returned to Chu.
In the 23rd year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (224 BC), Wang Jian destroyed Chu and Yiyang belonged to fan County; in the 26th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (221 BC), the county was established as geyang Township, Yuhan County, Jiujiang county.
In the fifth year of emperor Gaozu of Han Dynasty (202 BC), Yiyang belonged to Yuhan County, Jiujiang County, Huainan state; in the sixth year of emperor Gaozu of Han Dynasty (201 BC), Yuhan County, Yuzhang County, Yangzhou; in the 15th year of Jian'an (210 BC), Sun Quan divided Yuzhang County into Poyang County, which belonged to Yuhan county.
In the first year of Yuankang of Jin Dynasty (291), Yangzhou and Jingzhou were cut off and Jiangzhou was established. Geyang belonged to Poyang County of Jiangzhou, and Shangrao County was merged into geyang County in the same year. In the Southern Song Dynasty and Qi Dynasty, geyang belonged to Poyang County of Jiangzhou. In the first year of Yongchu of Song Dynasty (420), Shangrao County was established. In the second year of Chengsheng of Liang Dynasty (553), Poyang County was changed to Wuzhou, and geyang belonged to it. In the second year of Guangda of Chen Dynasty (568), Wuzhou was changed to Poyang County, and geyang belonged to it .
In the ninth year of kaihuang (589), Poyang County was changed into Raozhou, which belonged to geyang County; in the twelfth year of kaihuang (592), the county government moved to the north of Yijiang River and changed its name to Yiyang County; in the third year of Daye (607), Raozhou was changed into Poyang County, which governed Poyang, Yugan and Yiyang counties.

In 1277, Yiyang belonged to Xinzhou, Longxing road; in 1278, it belonged to Xinzhou Road, Jiankang Road, Zhejiang Province; in the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Yiyang was occupied by Chen Youliang; in 1360, Zhu Yuanzhang conquered Xinzhou and changed it into Guangxin mansion, Yiyang belonged to Guangxin mansion.
In the fourth year of Hongwu (1371) of Ming Dynasty, Yiyang was transferred to Jiangxi Province with Guangxin Prefecture; in the ninth year of Hongwu (1376), jiangxixing province was changed to Jiangxi Chengxuan minister department, which was divided into five branches. Yiyang belonged to huguangdao Guangxin Prefecture; in August of 1560, Yiyang and Shangrao were established in Xing'an County.
In 1731, Yiyang belonged to Guangxin Prefecture, Jiunan Road, Guangrao, Jiangxi Province.
In 1912, Yiyang was a county directly under Jiangxi Province; in 1914, Yiyang was a county directly under Jiangxi Province; in 1926, Yiyang was a county directly under Jiangxi Province; in 1931, Yiyang was the sixth administrative region of Jiangxi Province.
