Yujiang District Yujiang District, subordinate to Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province and the middle and lower reaches of Xinjiang River. It borders Yuehu district and Guixi City in the East, Jinxi County in the south, Dongxiang District of Fuzhou City in the west, Wannian county and Yugan County in the North. Yujiang was Yuhan County in the Qin and Han Dynasties. Anren County was officially established in the first year of song Duangong (988). In 1914, it was renamed Yujiang County because of the same name as Anren County in Hunan Province. In 1983, Yujiang County was subordinate to Yingtan City. On July 9, 2018, Yujiang County was renamed Yujiang district. Yujiang district belongs to subtropical humid monsoon climate, which is characterized by four distinct seasons, mild climate, abundant rainfall and sufficient sunshine. Yujiang district is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province, in the middle and lower reaches of Xinjiang River, bordering Yuehu district and Guixi City of Yingtan City in the East, Jinxi County in the south, Dongxiang District in the west, Wannian county and Yugan County in the north. The terrain in the northeast is high, with an average sea level of 100-300 meters. The highest peak "baijimu flies to the sky", with an altitude of 512 meters, is the branch of Huaiyu mountain system. The southwest terrain is also slightly higher, generally 100-180 meters above sea level, and some main peaks are 367 meters above sea level, which is the branch of Wuyi Mountain. Along the banks of Xinjiang River and Baita River are alluvial plains.
