It runs through six townships (towns) including Nanying, zhaitou, Chenzhuang, chatou, Tanzhuang and Ciyu, and flows southward along three townships (towns) including Qingtong, Nanzhai and Beiwa and the boundary of Xingtang County to the east of Dangjiazhuang village. In history, Cihe river flows underground in Fuliu village of Tang County, so it has the name of the village. Now the Cihe river flows from jialiangzhuang in the north of Qingtong town. Above shanmenkou village, Cihe river gathers streams in the undulating mountains. From below shanmenkou, Cihe River enters the hilly area, and then it gathers five tributaries (including the main branch of Cihe River) to form the main body of Cihe river. There is hengshanling reservoir in the upstream.
Songyang river originates from the hilly area in the middle of Lingshou county. There are two small rivers upstream: one originates from Wanli village, tashang Town, which is called Yanghe River; the other originates from Liujiazhuang village, Ciyu Town, which is called Songhe river. According to Lingshou county annals, it originated in the north of Liangtong village in Lingshou county. After passing Liangtong, Beituo, dongtuo, baimagang, nanjicheng and sanshengyuan, it entered Hutuo River in dongmufo village. In ancient times, Weishui had the same origin with Cihe River, and Weishui is now Cihe river. Dayu controlled the river and led his ancestors to change the river to the East in today's northern Jialiang village and Qiushan village. Therefore, there are records of "HENGWEI Jicong" to "Wei" and "Jicong" in Shangshu Yugong.
