Lishan District Lishan district is one of the municipal districts of Anshan City, Liaoning Province. It is located in the north of Anshan City, adjacent to Qianshan Scenic Spot in the East, Anshan steel plant in the west, Liaoyang County in the north and Tiedong District in the south. Its center is located at 41 ° 08 ′ 53.46 ″ N and 123 ° 01 ′ 25.68 ″ e with a total area of 91 square kilometers. It governs nine streets with a total population of 530000 (2011). Evolution of organizational system
In Liao and Jin Dynasties, Lishan District belonged to Liaoyang prefecture (today's Liaoyang City).

After the adjustment, the district has jurisdiction over 8 streets and 1 town.
In 2019, the Binhe sub district office of Lishan district will be abolished, and 6 villages and 10 communities under its jurisdiction will be incorporated into Lingshan sub district office; the Shennan sub district office will be abolished, and 9 communities under its jurisdiction will be incorporated into Shenbei sub district office, and the Shenbei sub district office will be renamed as shengousi sub district office. The Wangyu sub district office of the high tech Zone was abolished, and the five communities under its jurisdiction were incorporated into Qianshan sub district office; the Hongling sub district office was abolished, and the two villages and six communities under its jurisdiction were incorporated into Qidashan sub district office.
