Historical evolution
Lianhua established an Cheng county government in the Qin and Han Dynasties. Guangxing county was set up in the first year of Taikang in Jin Dynasty (280). The county government was located near today's Qinting Town, belonging to an Cheng County, which lasted for 300 years. Guangxing was withdrawn into Taihe in Sui Dynasty. In the second year of Tang Xianqing (657), the county of Yongxin was established in Taihe. Since then, Lianhua has always belonged to Yongxin and Anfu counties.
