geographical environment
topographic features
Due to the large-scale volcanic eruption in the early Jurassic and Cretaceous of Mesozoic and the neotectonic movement since the orogeny, the landform of Yongtai County has risen greatly and intermittently, forming a modern high and steep terrain, which is inclined from southwest to northeast. The whole county is dominated by medium and low mountain areas, most of which are 500-1000 meters above sea level, and the elevation difference is generally 300-500 meters, with individual peaks of about 1000 meters. Due to the difference of weathering resistance of different volcanic rocks, the terrain is characterized by sharp peaks, strong cutting and steep slopes. Only the intrusive rock area along the coast of Dazhangxi and some volcanic rock areas are distributed in low hills and Intermountain erosion basins. Generally, it is divided into two parts: Southwest and northeast
The mountains in the southwest are tall and majestic, with continuous peaks and deep valleys
