Jingxi city is a county-level city under the administration of Baise City, which is subordinate to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located at 105 ° 56 ′~ 106 ° 48 ′ E and 22 ° 51 ′~ 23 ° 34 ′ n. It is located at the border between China and Vietnam, with a border line of 152.5km long. It is connected with mountains and rivers in Gaoping Chaling County and Chongqing county of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the south, Napo County in the west, Baise City and Funing County of Yunnan Province in the north, Tiandeng County in the East Daxin County and Daxin County are adjacent to Debao County in the northeast.

Historical evolution
Jingxi has a long history. According to the Paleolithic choppers unearthed in the main mountain of the city after liberation and the Neolithic stones, axes and shovels unearthed in Dajin village of Ludong Township, it is inferred that human beings lived in Jingxi as far back as the primitive society. Located in the ownership and administrative district settings, the earliest seen in the book of Tang Dynasty, the system has a history of more than 1200 years.
In the 33rd year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (214 BC), Tu Sui, a military officer, led 500000 troops to pacify Lingnan. In Lingnan, Guilin, Nanhai and Xiangsan counties were set up. Today, the county is located in gouting County in the south of Yizhou governor's department. Guoke County governs Qielan. Gouting County governs Guangnan County in Yunnan Province. In ancient times, it was a gouting state. When Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty was defeated, gouting county was established.
In the third year of Jianxing (A.D. 225), Jianning and juke counties were regarded as Xinggu counties. Today, the county is located in gouting County, Xinggu County in the south of Yizhou, and wanwen county is located in Yanshan County, Yunnan Province.
In the first year of Taikang, Emperor Wu of Jin Dynasty (AD 280), SUN Hao surrendered and unified the south. The western part of Guangxi belongs to ningzhou. Today, the county is located in gouting County, Xinggu County of ningzhou in the Western Jin Dynasty. The county rule is higher in Maitreya City, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province. In 581, the first year of Dading in Sui Dynasty, the county belongs to the prefecture level administrative region of Nanning Prefecture, and the county is located in Qujing County, Yunnan Province.
After the second year of Kaiyuan in Tang Dynasty (714), Guichun Prefecture was set up in the eastern part of the county, which was subordinate to Yongzhou governor's office. During the Five Dynasties and ten states (907-960), Guangxi first belonged to Chu state in the north and Southern Han Dynasty in the south. In the fourth year of Kaibao (971), Emperor Taizu of Song Dynasty went to Guangzhou to eliminate the Southern Han Dynasty, unify Lingnan, and implement the chieftain system in Jimi area. In the first year of Hongwu (1368) of Ming Dynasty, the Yuan Dynasty perished. In the ninth year of Hongwu, the provincial governor of Xingzhong in Guangxi was changed into the governor of Guangxi. In 1661, the 18th year of Shunzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty and the 15th year of Yongli reign of the Southern Ming Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty perished and unified the whole country. Today, the county is located in tuzhou, Shunzhi Prefecture, which was under the jurisdiction of si'en Prefecture at the beginning. In June 1913, Guishun Prefecture was abolished and Jingxi County was set up. It was named after Jingcheng, the old city, and the western part of Guangxi. In the early days of the Republic of China, Nandao road of Zhenli governs today's Longzhou county. In June 1913, Daodao was abolished as a district. In the 16th year of the Republic of China, leitu Prefecture was merged into Leiping County, which is now Daxin County. On December 13, 1949, Jingxi County was peacefully liberated. On January 18, 1950, the people's Government of Jingxi County was established. It was subordinate to Longzhou special district of Guangxi Province. The special office was set up in Longzhou County, then moved to Chongzuo county. In 1952, the central and western part of Guangxi, where the Zhuang people live in concentrated communities, established the Western Guangxi Autonomous Region, which governs Nanning city. On August 1, 2015, Jingxi County was abolished and Jingxi city at the county level was established. The former administrative region of Jingxi County was taken as the administrative region of Jingxi city. The people's Government of Jingxi city was stationed at 339 Xinhua Street, Xinjing town. Jingxi city is directly under the central government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and administered by Baise City. On December 12, 2015, Jingxi city was officially listed.
