Weihai is a prefecture level city in Shandong Province, a regional central city, an important marine industrial base and a coastal tourism city in Shandong Peninsula approved by the State Council. Pre Qin Dynasty
Weihai has a long history. According to the research on the cultural relics unearthed from the ancient cultural sites in the territory, as early as the Neolithic age, there were human beings living and reproducing here. Qin dynasty

The Western Han Dynasty

Eastern Han Dynasty

In 1986, at the northern foot of Tashan mountain in Weihai City, a bronze seal named "Changgui tinghou" was unearthed. It is a relic of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Western Jin, southern and Northern Dynasties
At the beginning of Jin Dynasty, Changyang County was merged into Changguang County, which belongs to Changguang county. Now, it belongs to the southern part of the city. Sui dynasty
