Qing'an County is a county under Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province. It is located in the intersection of Songnen Plain and Xiaoxing'an Mountains in the middle of Heilongjiang Province. It belongs to the middle and upper reaches of Hulan River Basin. Covering an area of 5469 square kilometers, it governs 14 townships and 93 villages with a total population of 412000. Ha Jia railway, ha Yi highway and Ji ne highway pass through the territory, 170 kilometers away from Harbin.
Qing'an County belongs to the low mountains, hills and plains, and belongs to the continental monsoon climate of cold temperate zone. It is suitable for planting rice, corn, soybean and other crops.
Qing'an is a national green food A-level rice production base. In 2019, it is a national advanced county in village cleaning action, and enjoys the reputation of "the hometown of green food in China".
Historical evolution
Qing'an County was under the jurisdiction of Hulan city Shouwei in the Qing Dynasty, and later under the jurisdiction of Hulan vice capital. Its original name was "yuqingwobao". In the early years of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty, Shandong farmers came here with their families to settle down and gradually became villages, known as "Yuqing wobao". In February 1882 (the eighth year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty), it was renamed "Yuqing Street". In May 1885, Heilongjiang general played Zhun, set up Suihua hall governance at the same time, set up sub defense experience in Yuqing street, and took the homonym of "Yuqing", with the meaning of "more than auspicious day", named "Yuqing Street", played Zhun, set up the county system, followed by the street name, named Yuqing county. It was changed to Qingcheng County on February 5, 1914. In February 1929, the Taoist system was abolished and the provincial government was directly under the central government. After the fall of Northeast China, it was under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province. In December 1934, it was transferred to Binjiang province. In June 1939, it was under the jurisdiction of Bei'an province. On July 1, 1943, Qingcheng and Tieli counties were formally merged and changed into Qing'an County. The county was changed to Qing'an street. After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, Qing'an County was subordinate to Heilongjiang Province. In June 1946, Tieli county was restored. In February 1947, Qing'an County was under the jurisdiction of the first special region of heinen United province. In September of the same year, after the separation of heinen United Province, it was still under the direct control of Heilongjiang Province. In March 1956, it was put under the jurisdiction of Suihua special region. In August 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of Songhua River. On September 5, 1958, with the approval of the State Council, Tieli county was abolished and merged into Qing'an County. On October 20, 1962, with the approval of the State Council, Tieli District, which was originally merged in Qing'an County, was designated and restored to Tieli county. In June 1965, Songhuajiang district was renamed Suihua District, and Qing'an County was subordinate to Suihua district. In 1999, with the approval of the State Council, a prefecture level Suihua City was established, and Qing'an County is subordinate to Suihua City.
