In September 1958, leting county realized the people's communization. 145 senior agricultural (fishery) production cooperatives were merged into seven people's communes, which were the combination of workers, peasants, soldiers, students and businessmen, and the integration of government and society, namely Chengguan, Dazhao, yangezhuang, Xinzhai, tingliuhe, Jianggezhuang and Beigang. A total of 103 production teams (including 4 fishing teams) are planned. 1127 production teams. In December of that year, the four communes of Changning and Nanpu in Luan county were put under the jurisdiction of leting county.

In June 1961, some villages in Nanbao commune were put under the jurisdiction of Fengnan County, and 11 communes in leting county were adjusted to 51.

In October 1962, LUANNAN COUNTY was restored, and 17 communes in Changning, Luocheng, Hugezhuang and some villages of Nanpu commune were assigned to LUANNAN COUNTY. So far, there are 34 communes in leting county.

In April 1984, the people's commune disintegrated, and the township was built according to the original people's Commune and the scope of the division. The name of the township was named after the name of the original people's commune. By May 1985, leting county had jurisdiction over 4 towns and 32 townships.

In January 1997, according to the spirit of Jizheng [1995] No. 18 document of Hebei provincial Party committee, the county Party committee and the county government made the decision on the ownership of the management area. Caozhuangzi, geloutuo, xinkaikou, cuiweinian, Dongzhuang five management areas belong to matouying Town, Guhe Town, Wangtan Town, yangezhuang town and Jianggezhuang town respectively.

In December 1998, sanhezhuang and caizhuang management areas were abolished and belonged to leting town; niezhuang management area was abolished and belonged to Wangtan town; Luhe management area was abolished and belonged to yangezhuang town; wangzhuangzi management area was abolished and belonged to Jianggezhuang town.

In April 2002, leting County District Office was established. In April 2005, the urban street was renamed Le'an Street office.

In June 2007, Maozhuang Township and Zhongbao Wangzhuang Township were abolished and Maozhuang town and Zhongbao town were established.

By 2007, there were 533 administrative villages in leting County, with 11 towns, 3 townships and 1 sub district office.

On January 14, 2021, daxiangezhuang township was abolished and daxiangezhuang town was established.
