Shangzhi, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south central part of Heilongjiang Province, Southeast of Harbin City, with east longitude of 127 ° 17 ′ - 129 ° 12 ′, north latitude of 44 ° 29 ′ - 45 ° 34 ′. It borders Hailin City in the East, Acheng District in the west, Wuchang City in the South and Yanshou County, fangzheng county and Bin County in the north. In November 1946, in order to commemorate the great achievements of Zhao Shangzhi, the Anti Japanese hero, and his anti Japanese soldiers in Zhuhe County, the first agricultural and industrial Congress of Zhuhe County adopted a resolution to change Zhuhe County into Shangzhi City.
Located at the West foot of zhangguangcai mountain, the terrain is high in the East and low in the West. The average temperature is 2.3 ℃. The average annual precipitation is 666 mm. Rich in forest, ice and snow resources, marble, white clay, graphite reserves. Binsui railway passes through Suiman expressway, 301 National Road, 203 provincial road and 223 provincial road. Historical evolution
Before Qing Dynasty
In the reign of Yushun, Shangzhi City was one of the areas where Sushen people lived.
In the Northern Wei Dynasty, yilou was renamed Wuji.
At the end of the Northern Dynasty, about the middle of the sixth century, the Wuji people gradually formed seven tribes. Located in the Songhua River Basin and between funei and Heishui, it is called anchegu. Today, Shangzhi City belongs to anchegu. After that, the seven divisions were disintegrated, and only two divisions were left.
In 698, the first year of Shengli in Tang Dynasty, Su Mo established Bohai State, which was called Zhenguo. It belongs to Mojie mansion.
In 926, the first year of Tianxian of Liao Dynasty, Shangzhi City was under the jurisdiction of Wanyan department.
At the end of the 10th century, Shangzhi City belonged to wujihe Department of Huining Prefecture in Shangjing.
At the end of the 12th century, Shangzhi City was located on the northeast edge of Kaiyuan Road.
In 1312, the first year of emperor Qing of the Yuan Dynasty, in order to strengthen the rule of the northeast, the Yuan Dynasty set up shuidada road from Kaiyuan Road. Now Shangzhi City is under the jurisdiction of shuidada road.
In 1403, the first year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty, Shangzhi City belongs to Malan River Wei.
Qing Dynasty
After the Qing Dynasty rulers moved their capital to Beijing, Shangzhi City was under the jurisdiction of hurha road in the early Qing Dynasty, and later it was under the jurisdiction of alechuka deputy Dutong.

The establishment of wuzhu River and Weisha River in 1922 marked the beginning of the construction of political power and administrative region.
In 1931 and the 20th year of the Republic of China, the Japanese aggressors launched the "September 18th Incident" and established the puppet Manchukuo in 1932 and the 21st year of the Republic of China.
In 1933, the county system was reorganized in the second year of the puppet Datong. Zhuhe county and Weihe county were changed from the third class county to the second class County, still under the jurisdiction of Jilin Province.
In 1934, in December of the first year of Kant, local administrative reform was carried out. Zhuhe county and Weihe county were under the jurisdiction of Binjiang province.
On April 14, 1946, the democratic government of Songjiang province led by the Communist Party of China held the people's Congress of Songjiang Province in Bin County, and decided that Zhuhe and Weihe counties should be under the jurisdiction of Songjiang province.

In 1956, Shangzhi county was set up as Mudanjiang special area.
In March 1970, it was under the jurisdiction of Songhuajiang district administrative office.
In September 1988, the State Council approved the abolition of Shangzhi county and the establishment of Shangzhi City.
