Nanshan District Nanshan District, belonging to Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, is located in the Midwest of Shenzhen city. Evolution of organizational system
Nanshan was called Nantou in ancient times. In the pre Qin period, it belonged to Baiyue. In the Qin and Han Dynasties, Nanshan was under the jurisdiction of Nanhai county. In the Han Dynasty, Nantou was the residence of salt officials. In the Three Kingdoms period, siyanduwei post was set up and siyanduwei base was built in Nantou City, which was called "Wucheng".
In the sixth year of Xianhe (331) of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Nanhai county was analyzed, and Dongguan county was set up, which governed six counties, including Bao'an and Xingning. Baoan county and Dongguan county were both set up in chengzigang (now Nantou of Shenzhen).
In the 24th year of Kaiyuan (736) of Tang Dynasty, Tuen Mun (Jun) town was set up, which was subordinate to Nantou city. In the second year of Zhide (757), Bao'an county was renamed Dongguan County, which was the capital of Guangzhou. The county government moved from Nantou to Yong (now Dongguan county).
In the 27th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1394), the Shouyu qianhusuo in Dongguan was set up, and the Suo city (now Nantou ancient city) was built in Nantou. In the first year of Wanli (1573), Dongguan county was analyzed, and Xin'an County was set up, which was located in Nantou and belonged to Guangzhou government.
