Xinglongtai District Xinglongtai District, belonging to Panjin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the middle of Panjin City. The central area of the city is between 41 ° 05 ′ - 41 ° 12 ′ N and 121 ° 55 ′ - 122 ° 11 ′ e, with a total area of 267 square kilometers.
Xinglongtai District is the seat of Panjin Municipal government and Liaohe Oilfield. It is the only national ecological construction demonstration area in northern China and an excellent tourism city in China. The wetland area in Xinglongtai District accounts for 35% of the total area of the city, and is known as "the world's important wetland" and "the most beautiful wetland in China".
In 2018, Xinglongtai district administered 17 streets, with 439 thousand and 189 registered residence population, and realized 35 billion 290 million yuan of gross domestic product (GDP). In the 27th year of Hongwu (1394) of the Ming Dynasty, a side wall was built to defend against the attack of the Nuzhen people in the north. A side fort and a beacon tower were built in guangningwei (there are two beacon towers in Xinglongtai District today). In 1644, the Ming Dynasty perished, and a beacon tower was in disrepair. A hole appeared in the southeast corner of the tower, which was scoured by rain. The people near and far called it "hole tower". Therefore, the village where the hole tower was located got its name. In the 11th year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1861), the donglongtai was changed into Xinglongtai according to the homonym.
Panshan hall was built in 1906.
In 1913, Panshan hall was changed into Panshan county.
In January 1948, Kuomintang troops fled Panshan County, and the Communist Party took over Panshan county. The democratic government of Panshan county was established in February.
In June 1986, when Xinglongtai District was to be built, a preparatory group was set up in the suburb to temporarily perform the functions and powers of the local government.
In November 1986, Xinglongtai District was officially established. At the end of the year, Xingong street in Xinglongtai District was established, with some administrative areas of Panshan town in Panshan County as the administrative area of Xingong street.

In 1907, zhaojiawopeng, lijiatun, qiaotoubao, gouyanzi, Xinglongtai, peijiatai, dongyaowangmiao, Balipu, guojiagang and other villages were under the jurisdiction of panshanting Minzi district (now SHANGFANGGOU Village). Yujiawopeng, xiaoliangyu (Wulipu), yangjiadian, chenjiatun, niuguantun, jianerpu, Langwo, donggaojiawopu and other villages are under the jurisdiction of panshanting Tuzi (Tuzi District).
In 1908, Panshan hall was moved from panshe post to Shuangtaizi town. In 1909, Panshan hall was divided into eight districts and townships. The villages of Zhaojia, Yaowang temple, Xiadong, Nantun and niuguantun to the north of crab Valley (today's belt park) are under the jurisdiction of panshanting Chengxiang District. Xinglongtai, Balipu, Yangjia and other villages to the south of crab valley are under the jurisdiction of panshanting Nanyi township.
In 1914, the district and village system was implemented in Panshan county. There are eight districts in the county. The villages of Zhaojia and niuguan in Chengxiang District and Xinglongtai and Balipu in Nanyi township are under the jurisdiction of the Second District of Panshan county.
In 1933, eight police districts were set up in Panshan county. The main village of the first police district is western medicine Wangmiao village, and its affiliated villages are western medicine Wangmiao village, Eastern medicine Wangmiao village, peijiatai, xiaoyanguo (Xiaoguo), Xinglongtai, qiaotoupu, zhaojiawopeng, guojiagangzi, lijiatun, gouyanzi and WUJIATUN. From 1943 to August 1945, Panshan county was divided into two streets, 17 villages and 75 villages. Peijiatai, lijiatun, Wangmiao of Western medicine, zhaojiawopeng, Xinglongtai, Balipu, yangjiatun are under the jurisdiction of Tianjia village. Liangwo (formerly known as Langwo) is under the jurisdiction of Yucun village.
On August 15, 1945, Japanese imperialism surrendered unconditionally and liberated Northeast China. In December of the same year, the strategy of the Northeast Democratic Alliance Army was transferred, and the Kuomintang army occupied Panshan County, implementing the county and township security system. There are 2 streets, 15 townships and 86 Baotou. The administrative divisions remain unchanged.
In November 1948, the system of district and village was implemented, with 2 towns and 15 districts. Lijia village, Peijia village and Wangmiao village belong to Shuangtaizi District. Xinglongtai village in the south is under the jurisdiction of Tianjia District, niuguan village and chentun village in the East are under the jurisdiction of yucunpu district.
In 1955, the district was changed to township. There are 2 towns, 6 districts and 55 townships in Panshan county. Tianjia town of Panshan county is under the jurisdiction of Zhao hometown, Pei hometown and Xinglongtai township.
In February 1956, Panshan County adjusted 55 townships to 34 townships. Peijiatai Township, zhaojiawopeng Township and Liangjia township are located in the territory.
In August 1958, the CPC Central Committee issued the resolution on the establishment of people's communes in rural areas. In October, Panshan County merged 34 townships and established four people's communes. The government and society should be integrated, that is, the people's commune, the production brigade and the production brigade. The villages are under the jurisdiction of Bohai people's commune.
In May 1961, the scale of the people's commune was reduced. Panshan County adjusted the four people's communes of Bohai, Shaling, Gaosheng and Dongfeng into 15 people's communes of two towns. The government of Liaoning Province defines the area of Xinglongtai District of Panjin City as niuguan village and Liangjia Village in suburban township of former Panshan County; Zhoujia wasteland Village in Dongyue, Zhaojia and Tianjia villages of Bohai township of Panshan County; Wulipu village in Xinli township; Panjin reform through labor corps; Huanxiling, Gaosheng and Shuguang of Liaohe Petroleum Exploration Bureau in former Panshan County; Yulou, Huangjindai, Huangjindai in Dawa County Hongcun's subordinate units and the living area of employees' families are the administrative divisions of Xinglongtai District to be established.
In June 1986, Liangjia Village and niuguan village in Shuangtaizi District; Zhaojia village, chentun village and Dongyue Village in Panshan County; Xinglong branch and Yujia branch of Qianjin farm in Dawa County; Wulipu village in Xinli farm; Wangjia wasteland and Zhoujia wasteland in Tianjia branch were under the jurisdiction of the preparatory group of the district office.
On January 23, 1987, Bohai township of Panshan county was designated as Xinglongtai District. Six villages, including Lijia, Peijia, Wutun, Xiyue, Nantun and xiadongjia, and their enterprises and institutions directly under the jurisdiction of Xinglongtai District are under the jurisdiction of suixiang. At the same time, the preparatory group for the suburban office was abolished, and its five villages, chentun, Liangjia, Zhaojia, Dongyue and niuguan, were under the jurisdiction of Bohai township. Zhoujia wasteland and Wangjiatun wasteland of Qianjin farm in Dawa County, and Wulipu village of Qianhu village in Xinli township are under the jurisdiction of Xinglongtai District. Xinglongtai farm is merged with Xinglong Village and Yujia village, which belong to the preparatory group of suburban office.
