In the 17th year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1147), Deqing army was changed to Anqing army; in the first year of Qingyuan (1195), Anqing army was promoted to Anqing Prefecture, which belonged to Huaining County and still belonged to Huainan West Road.
In 1277, Anqing Prefecture was changed into the general office of Anqing road and attached to the Xuanwei Department of Qihuang County; in 1286, Xuanwei department was directly subordinate to Jiangnan province; in 1323, the Qing Dynasty and Yuzhao Township in the West were divided into Qianshan County.
