Lingtai County Lingtai County, located in the southeast edge of Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is an agent County of Pingliang City, Gansu Province. It belongs to the gully region of the Loess Plateau, between the Jinghe River and the Weihe River. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. Evolution of organizational system
Lingtai has a long history. As far back as the Shang and Zhou dynasties, there were Mitsu state and Mituo state.
In the Qin Dynasty, there were two counties, kuigu and Yinmi.
Sanshui county was established in the late Eastern Han Dynasty.
