Historical evolution

In the Taishi period of the Western Jin Dynasty, Wuxiang County was established in shecheng Town, 18 kilometers north of Chengguan, which belongs to Shangdang county.

In 319, Zhao set up Wuxiang County in Wuxiang County. Yonghe county was abandoned in middle age.

In the second year of Yanhe (433) of the Northern Wei Dynasty, Wuxiang County was changed into Xiang County, and Xiang county was set up in the county. Taihe 15 years (491) County, the county moved to Changzhi City Wuxiang County.

In the 16th year of kaihuang of Sui Dynasty (596), Yushe County was set up, which belongs to Hanzhou. "Because of the name of the old city of Yushe in the northwest of the county", Daye county was abandoned in 606. Yining two years (618) restoration, belongs to Taiyuan county.

In July 1953, nine natural villages in Yushe County, including qingwangtou, xiaohouao and fujiashan, were assigned to Wuxiang County.

In 1956, the five villages of jiaohongsi, Shawang, pipayao, Daniu and caibudai in Heshun county and the Shantou and Wuzhuang villages in Taigu County were assigned to Yushe County.

In 1958, it was incorporated into Wuxiang County.

In 1960, it was restored to Jinzhong district.

On June 1, 1961, 16 natural villages in Taigu County, including Baibi, Paifang, Changrui and Si'er, were assigned to Yushe County, where Baibi commune was established.

In 1971, 12 production teams and 25 natural villages of Shipan commune in Wuxiang County were assigned to Yushe County.
