Liubei District Liubei district is under the jurisdiction of Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in the north of Liuzhou City, across the Liujiang River in the East and southwest, and faces Liudong Township and Liunan District in the suburbs. It connects Chengzhong District in the south, Changtang Township and Bailu Township in the suburbs in the north, and Liujiang River in the west, forming a long axe shaped layout with wide north and narrow south.
Liubei district covers a total area of 282 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 9 streets and 3 towns, with a total population of 4413000. Liubei district is a fan-shaped area, surrounded by mountains and water. Jiuqu Liujiang River passes through the East, South and West. In the north, there are queershan Park, Junwu Forest Park, Jiangwan leisure and tourism area and other scenic spots.
In 2017, the GDP of the whole year was 52.593 billion yuan, an increase of 0.2% in terms of comparable prices. Among them, the added value of the primary industry was 953 million yuan, an increase of 1.2%; the added value of the secondary industry was 27.248 billion yuan, a decrease of 6.3%; the added value of the tertiary industry was 24.392 billion yuan, an increase of 8.7%. In 591, the 11th year of kaihuang reign of Sui Dynasty, Guilin county was set up as Maping county. The county seat was set up in Shuangshan, near queershan, Liubei District, Liuzhou city. It belongs to Xiangzhou.

In the third year of Daye (607), Guizhou was renamed Shi'an County, which belonged to Maping county.

In the first year of Xianchun in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265), Liuzhou was moved to Liucheng County, and Maping county still belonged to it.
In 1276, Maping County belonged to Liuzhou pacification department. Sixteen years (1279) belong to Liuzhou Road. In the first year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1368), Maping County belonged to Liuzhou Prefecture. The Qing Dynasty was still in charge of the government.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Maping county was withdrawn into Liuzhou Prefecture.
In June of 1913, the capital of Liuzhou was cut off and Maping county was restored. It belongs to Liujiang road in Guangxi, and is the place of governance.
On January 1, 1931, Maping county was renamed Liuzhou county.
In 1934, Liuzhou County belonged to the administrative supervision area of Liuzhou and was the administrative center.
On April 7, 1935, Liuzhou county was renamed Liujiang county.
In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), Liujiang County belonged to the fourth administrative supervision district and served as a hospital.
In 1942, the fourth district was renamed the Second District, and Liujiang was still the district seat.
After liberation, Liujiang county was liberated on November 25, 1949. On December 10, the urban area of Liujiang County, which is now under the jurisdiction of Liubei and some of its suburbs, was transferred to Liuzhou city. The 18 townships outside the urban area are divided into Liujiang county and Liuzhou District.
On March 19, 1950, the government of Liujiang County moved to labaowei. Today, Liubei district is divided into Liudong and Liuxi districts. On July 26, Liudong and Liuxi districts were changed into the second and third districts, belonging to the second and third districts of Liuzhou City, and some of them belong to zhegujiang township of Liucheng county. In the second half of the same year, it was transferred to the first and third districts.
In 1955, the district was withdrawn and streets were established. Now Liubei district is under the jurisdiction of Wenhui street, Zhongnan street and suburbs.
On September 25, 1958, Liubei district was established to administer the new industrial zone.
In April 1960, the district office and the residents committee were abolished, and the urban and suburban areas were merged to form four people's communes under the jurisdiction of Liuzhou city. Queershan people's commune was established, under the jurisdiction of Bailu (iron and steel), Changtang (Feiyue) and Shatang (Chaomei). Today, most of Liubei district belongs to queershan people's commune, and some belong to Wenhui branch and Dongfanghong agricultural branch of Chengzhong people's commune.
In December 1961, the division of urban and rural areas was resumed. On the 21st, queershan commune was abolished, and most of the areas were merged into the suburbs and a small part into the urban area.
In 1962, the residents committee was restored, and now part of Liubei district is under the jurisdiction of Xiangyang commune. On December 5 of the next year, queershan commune was restored, which governs all areas of Liubei industrial zone.
In 1968, Liuzhou city established Chengzhong District, Yufeng District and suburbs. Today, Liubei district is divided into Chengzhong district and suburbs.
In 1972, the city and Yufeng merged into the urban area of Liuzhou city. Today, Liubei district is divided into Jiefang commune and queershan commune.
On September 20, 1979, Liubei district was restored. On the 28th, Liubei district was officially established. Liuzhou city has not changed.

Huangcun sub district office is under the jurisdiction of 8 Urban sub district residents' committees, from tieqiaotou of Yaru road in the south to Hongbei intersection of beique road in the north, Hunan Guangxi railway in the East and Liujiang section in the West. The office was originally located at No. 7 of beique Road, and then moved to qingshuitangbian of Yaru road. Shengli sub district office has jurisdiction over Yuejin intersection in the south, Liuchang highway and Xianggui railway intersection in the north, the middle section of beique road in the west, and Liujiang River bank in the East. It has jurisdiction over 14 urban sub district residents committees and Shengli community management committee, and Shengli community is the seat of the office. The area under the jurisdiction of queershan sub district office is at the junction of Shengli office in the South and zhegujiang section in the north. It has jurisdiction over 9 urban sub district residents committees and is located at No. 79 beique road.
On January 17, 1983, the team of Gumu and datan in Shibeiping of Shapu commune in Liucheng county was transferred to Liuzhou City, and the employees and family members of Changhong Machinery Factory in Liuzhou city were under the management of Liubei district. On the same day, Luobu town in Luzhai county was transferred to Liuzhou City, and the employees and family members of Liujiang paper mill in Liujiang city were also under the management of Liubei district expand.
In May 1988, the residential office of Liuzhou Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. was set up to manage the nine residential committees within Liuzhou Iron and steel works. Administratively, it is still under the leadership of Liubei District People's government.
In 1990, there were 52. The farthest place under the jurisdiction is Tunqiu neighborhood committee, which is located in Luzhai county. This phenomenon of interweaving urban and rural areas and connecting with other counties is a prominent feature in the administrative division and management of Liubei district.
On February 22, 2012, Luobu town was classified as Yufeng District.

From the weather changes and biological phenomena in Liubei area for many years, it shows that the temperature in Liuzhou area (taking Liubei as observation point) rises from 11 ℃ to 20.4 ℃ from February 7 to April 25 every year in spring. It takes 78 days for peach bud to expand, tung oil tree to spread leaves and Melia azedarach to blossom. Summer begins at the end of April every year. In early summer, the average temperature is 20.4 degrees, and the grapes blossom; in midsummer, the average temperature is 21 degrees, and the grasshoppers begin to sing; in summer, the average temperature is 26 degrees, and the osmanthus flowers bloom for 160 days until the end of summer in early October. Autumn lasts 84 days from October 3 to December 25, with an average temperature of 16.2 degrees. Loquat buds appear and tung oil leaves turn yellow. From December 26 to February 6 of the next year is the winter, a total of 43 days, the average temperature of 11 degrees, neem leaves fall, weeds yellow.
The annual average temperature is 20.5 degrees centigrade, generally with little change. The temperature difference between before and after the year is about 0.4 degrees.
