Zhangqiu District Zhangqiu district is a municipal district of Jinan City, Shandong Province. It is located in the east of Jinan City, between 36 ° 25 ′ - 37 ° 09 ′ N and 117 ° 10 ′ - 117 ° 35 ′ E. Historical evolution
In the Shang Dynasty, pugu was in the East and North. At the end of the Shang Dynasty, the western part was the state of Tan (the capital was at chengziya, Longshan Street).
In the spring and Autumn period, it was the fiefs of the state of Tan and the state of Qi, including Laiyi, Ningyi, Taiyi and Cuiyi. The Warring States period belongs to Tianqi.
Qin Dynasty belongs to Jibei county.
In the Western Han Dynasty, it belongs to Jinan County of Qingzhou (governing Dongping Mausoleum). In the fourth year of emperor Jingdi of Han Dynasty (153 BC), the county was first established as Yangqiu (zhihuijun Town, now Xiuhui street Huicun Village).
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Yangqiu county was in the middle, Kan county and Yao county in the north, and Tugu County in the south. Houyangqiu and Yao counties were merged into East Chaoyang County.
In the Wei and Jin Dynasties, eastern Chaoyang County belonged to Le'an state.
In the northern and Southern Dynasties, Liu Song changed the eastern Chaoyang County to Chaoyang County, belonging to Qi county.
In the Northern Qi Dynasty, Chaoyang County was abandoned and Gaotang county was set up. In the seventh year of Tianbao (556), Gaotang county was moved to build a city in the south of nianglang mountain (Zhangqiu mountain).
In the 16th year of kaihuang of Sui Dynasty (596), the name of Zhangqiu county was changed from Bozhou to Gaotang.

In September 1953, Zhangli county was merged into Zhangqiu county (the former Zhangqiu City, now Xiuhui sub district office), which was assigned to Tai'an special district.
In August 1958, the county government moved to Mingshui. In November of the same year, Tai'an district was abolished, belonging to Jinan City.
In May 1961, the Tai'an special area was restored, and then it was assigned to the Tai'an special area.

In August 1992, Zhangqiu county was abolished and Zhangqiu City (county level) was established.

Zhangqiu district belongs to the circumgyration layer of the Luxi system, where the north-south and north-west compression and torsion faults are developed. The vertical dislocation and horizontal displacement of these faults seriously damaged the continuity of ancient sedimentary strata. In particular, the North-South displacement of the two sides of the Wenzu fault is 15 km, which makes a significant East-West difference in topography, geology and groundwater sources between the two sides of the fault. The formation of geological structure is generally monoclinic strata, mainly block faults, and few folds. The strike of the strata is 60 ° NW, dip 30 ° NE and dip 7 ° to 13 ℃. The strata of each geological age are well developed. Metamorphic rocks, limestones, shales, coal seams and volcanic extrusions are distributed from south to North in mountainous areas. Mudstones are widely distributed in hilly valleys and alluvial flat areas. Fresh water limestone is distributed in the lower part and sand gravel and various soil types are distributed in the upper part.

river system
Most of Zhangqiu district belongs to Xiaoqing River system, and a few mountainous areas in the southeast belong to Dawen River system. The main rivers are yellow river, Xiaoqing River, Xiujiang River, dongbalou River, xibalou River, Luohe River, Juye River, etc. The Yellow River is a boundary river in the northwest. It flows from Dashan, Licheng District to changjiazhuang, Huanghe town to Zouping County, with an average annual runoff of 42.5 billion cubic meters. Xiaoqing River is located in the northwest, from the northeast of beichaijiazhuang in Licheng District to the northeast of xiaojiazhuang in Shuizhai town to Zouping County. The river reaches 18.8 km, with an average annual runoff of 777 million cubic meters. Xiujiang river originates from Mingshui Baimaiquan, with a total length of 32.8 km, and finally flows into Xiaoqing River. Dongbalou River, a seasonal river in the southeast, originates from Boshan District of Zibo City, from Shimen to xianggongzhuang street, Zhaizi to Luohe, with a total length of 34.4 km. Xibalou River, a seasonal river in central and southern China, originates from the north slope of sijiaocheng, duozhuang Town, and flows into Xiujiang River in the north of Jinpan village, Xiuhui street, with a total length of 68.8 km. Luohe is 28 kilometers long, connecting dongbalou river at longwantou of xianggongzhuang street and Yazhuang lake at the northeast of Diao town.
