Heyang County, belonging to Weinan City of Shaanxi Province, is located in the northeast of Weinan City and the West Bank of the Yellow River. It faces Linyi County of Shanxi Province in the East, Chengcheng County across Dayu River in the west, Dali County in the south, Huanglong county and Hancheng City in the north. It is 41.8 km long in the north and 35.6 km wide in the East and West, with a total area of 1437 square kilometers. By the end of 2019, Heyang County has 11 towns and 1 sub district office with a total population of 500000. The district government is located at 29 East Street, Heyang County.
Heyang County has a warm temperate semi-arid continental monsoon climate with abundant light and heat resources and less precipitation. Heyang County is rich in wild animal resources, with the largest reed marsh in China: Qiachuan Yellow River wetland. The transportation of Heyang County is convenient. National Highway 108 runs through the whole county. Xiyu Expressway passes through 8 townships in the county and goes straight to the county. Xihou railway passes through the county from south to north. Heyang is rich in tourism resources. It has the largest Hot Spring Lake Wetland in the Yellow River Basin, national AAAA scenic spot: Qiachuan, and the only wudishan National Forest Park named after the emperor in China.
In 2019, the total GDP of Heyang County is 10.498 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 6.0%. The added value of the primary industry was 2.851 billion yuan, accounting for 27.2% of the GDP; the added value of the secondary industry was 1.911 billion yuan, accounting for 18.2%; the added value of the tertiary industry was 5.736 billion yuan, accounting for 54.6%.
Historical evolution
About the 21st century BC, Xia Qifeng branch in Shen (today's Heyang), known as "you Shen state", referred to as Shen state, belongs to Yongzhou. This was the reason in the Shang Dynasty. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, the state of Shen was transferred to the interior of Ji.
In 770 BC, after King Ping of Zhou moved his capital to Luoyang, it was abolished
Shen state, merged into Jin State, is called "Xin Di", "Liang" or "Jima".
In the 22nd year of Chugong (453 BC), after Han, Zhao and Wei divided into three divisions, Xindi belonged to "the land of Xihe" in Wei Dynasty.
In 429 B.C., Wei Wenhou defeated the Qin division in Zheng (now Huaxian county), returned the division to the north, and built a city on the North Bank of Heshui (also known as Qiashui, which was cut off in the early Qing Dynasty, and the remaining road was in Xinli village on the West Bank of the Yellow River). It was named "Heyang city". The land of Xihe River was called Hewei.
In the eighth year of King Huiwen of Qin Dynasty (330 BC), Wei Xianxi river was located in Qin Dynasty. Heyang was divided into Qin territory. It was Heyang city and belonged to NEISHI county.
In the third year of the second Qin Dynasty (207 BC), Xiang Yu, the overlord of Western Chu, designated the hinterland of Qin as the Three Kingdoms of Sai, Yong and Zhai, known as the "three Qin", and Heyang belonged to the state of Sai.
In the second year of Gaozu (205 BC) of the Western Han Dynasty, the fortress was destroyed and Heyang belonged to Heshang county. Nine years ago (198 BC) changed to NEISHI county. In the second year of the reign of emperor Jing (155 BC), it was changed into "Ying" and "Yingyang county" was set up, which belongs to zuoneishi county. In the first year of Taichu (104 BC), Emperor Wu belonged to zuofengyi county.
In the first year of Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty (25 years), Yingyang entered Xiayang county (today's Korean city).
From the first year of Huangchu (220) to the third year of Jianxing (315) in the Western Jin Dynasty, Yingyang belongs to Fengyi county.
During the Sixteen Kingdoms period, Yingyang was occupied by the former Zhao, the latter Zhao, the former Qin, the latter Qin and the Daxia, and the county was abandoned.
In 446, the seventh year of Taiping Zhenjun, Emperor Taiwu of the northern and Southern Dynasties, Yingyang was analyzed. Gongcheng County was set up in the northeast of Yingyang (where it was governed by today's donggongcheng, formerly known as zhijincheng); Wuquan county was set up in the south of ruluo mountain and today's Chengcheng County (where it was governed by today's Liangshi Village). In the 11th year of Emperor Xiaowen's Taihe reign (487), Yingyang county was set up in the middle of the country. All the three counties belong to Huashan county. In 540, Yingyang County belonged to Wuxiang County, while Gongcheng County and Wuquan County belonged to Chengcheng County. In the second year of Emperor Ming of the Northern Zhou Dynasty (558), Yingyang county was located in ruluo mountain area of Miyagi county and Wuquan County, which belonged to Chengcheng County.
In 583, Yingyang County belonged to Tongzhou. In 596, the county government moved from the West Bank of the Yellow River to the middle of the county. In the third year of Daye reign of emperor Yang (607), Tongzhou was changed into Fengyi County, which belonged to Yingyang.
In 618, the first year of Wude, Emperor Gaozu of Tang Dynasty, Yingyang returned to Tongzhou. In 620, Hexi county (the ancient city of Yingyang county) was set up along the Yellow River in the east of Yingyang. In 625, Yingyang County belonged to xihanzhou, and in 634, it returned to Tongzhou. In 742, Yingyang county and Hexi County belonged to Fengyi county. In the first year of Qianyuan (758), suzong regained the title of Tongzhou, which belonged to Yingyang and Hexi counties; in the third year of Qianyuan (760), Hexi county was changed to Xiayang County, and its subordinate status remained unchanged.
In the early Five Dynasties, Yingyang and Xiayang belonged to Hezhong Prefecture, and Tongzhou in the Later Zhou Dynasty.
In the fourth year of Xining (1071), Shenzong in the Northern Song Dynasty, Xiayang county was removed and merged into Yingyang County, which still belongs to Tongzhou.
In 1215, Yingyang county was designated as Zhenzhou.
In 1269, Yingyang County returned to Tongzhou.
In the Ming Dynasty, Yingyang County belonged to Tongzhou, Xi'an Prefecture, Shaanxi Province.
In the 13th year of Yongzheng reign of emperor Shizong of Qing Dynasty (1735), Tongzhou was changed into a prefecture, and Yingyang was under the jurisdiction of Tongzhou Prefecture of Tongshang road in Shaanxi Province.
In 1913, Yingyang county was subordinate to Guanzhong road. 22 years (1933), directly under the Shaanxi Province. In 1938, the Hongshiya area in the Northwest Mountainous area belonged to Huanglong reclamation area, and later to Huanglong county. The next year, Yingyang county was under the jurisdiction of the eighth administrative supervision district office of Shaanxi Province.
On March 26, 1948 (February 16 of the lunar calendar), Yingyang was liberated and designated as the county of Huanglong District of Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region government. In December of the same year, it was under the jurisdiction of Dali District of Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region government. In 1950, it was subordinate to Weinan District of Shaanxi Province. From October 1956 to December 1958, it was directly under the jurisdiction of Shaanxi Province.
In December 1958, Yingyang county was merged into Hancheng county.
On August 22, 1961, Yingyang county was restored to Weinan district.
In September 1964, the State Council changed the remote place name from "Ying" to "he", which is called Heyang County.
In 1968, Weinan area was renamed Weinan area, and Heyang County still belongs to it.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, some villages in the boundary of Dayu River in Chenghe and Hexian counties were adjusted. In September 1957, juanhe village of Heyang County was classified as Chengcheng County, and gaojiapo of Chengcheng County was classified as Heyang County. In March 1971, he moved to Wangjiahe village of Chengcheng County and entered Heyang County.
In 1995, Weinan City was built by withdrawing land, which belongs to Heyang County.
administrative division
In 1948, the administrative division was divided into district and township system. It was changed to people's commune system in 1958. After 1984, the township system was implemented.
In December 1948, Yingyang city was divided into seven districts, including Hezhong District, Zhengdong District, southeast district, Southwest District, Zhengxi District, northwest district and northeast district. The scope of its jurisdiction is basically the same as that of the administrative divisions in the four years of the Republic of China.
In June 1949, Yingyang city was withdrawn and merged into one district; the Northeast was divided into seven and eight districts; Heyang County was divided into eight districts, which were named in order.
In December 1949, the first district was changed into central district; the second district was divided into Fangzhen district and Hexi District; the third district was divided into Heichi district and Xinhua District; the fourth district was divided into Ruyang district and Lujing district; the Fifth District was divided into Yongzhao district and Wangcun district; the Sixth District was divided into Wufu district and Ganjing district; the seventh district was changed into Baoju district and the eighth district was changed into Bailiang District, a total of 13 districts.
In May 1950, the administrative divisions of eight districts were restored.
In 1956, four districts were changed to open well district, seven and eight districts were merged into tongjiazhuang District, and other districts were abolished. During this period, the scale of township increased, Heyang County has 2 districts and 21 townships (including 7 townships under the district and 14 townships directly under the county).
In August 1958, Chengguan commune was formed in Chengguan, Zhibao and Daguo townships; Fangzhen commune was formed in Fangzhen, xiaofuliu, pozhao and Dongwang townships; Heichi commune was formed in Heichi, Xinmin and Majiazhuang townships; Lujing commune was formed in Lujing, Mengzhuang and Dudian townships; Wangcun commune was formed in Wangcun and HeJiazhuang townships; Ganjing commune was formed in Ganjing and Baijiazhuang townships; tongjiazhuang commune was formed in tongjiazhuang and Yangjiazhuang townships Bailiang commune was formed in Bailiang and taizao townships, and Lujing and tongjiazhuang districts were abolished at the same time. Eight people's communes were established in Heyang County.
In December 1958, Yingyang was incorporated into Hancheng county. In August 1961, Heyang County was divided into suburbs, Zhibao, Pingzheng, Ganjing, Fangzhen, xiaofuliu, Xinchi, Dongwang, Heichi, Xinmin, Majiazhuang, Mengzhuang, Lujing (formerly known as Lujing), Dudian, HeJiazhuang, Wangcun, Fanglu village, Huangfu village, Yangjiazhuang, tongjiazhuang, Bailiang, Wangzhuang There are 22 communes in Jiawa.
In 1963, xiaofuliu commune was renamed Fuliu commune. In 1965, chuchengguan town was set up by suburban commune. In 1969, Xinmin commune was abolished and turned into Sanmenxia reservoir area; liuquanxingzhai brigade was transferred to Majiazhuang commune.
In 1971, Chengguan town and suburban commune became Chengguan commune.
In 1980, Chengguan commune was divided into Chengguan town and suburban commune. In February 1984, all communes were renamed as townships. On December 23, 1984, Wangcun, Lujing and Heichi townships were transformed into established towns. On April 18, 1986, Chengjiao township was merged into Chengguan town. There are 4 towns and 17 townships in Heyang County: Chengguan Town, Lujing Town, Wangcun Town, Heichi Town, Ganjing Town, Pingzheng Town, Zhibao Town, Fangzhen Town, Fuliu Town, Dongwang Town, Xinchi Town, Majiazhuang Town, Mengzhuang Town, Dudian Town, HeJiazhuang Town, fangluzhai Town, huangfuzhuang Town, Yangjiazhuang Town, tongjiazhuang Town, Bailiang town and wangjiawa town. There are 350 villagers' committees and 1 residents' committee under township (town).
