Lang County Lang County, subordinate to Nyingchi city of Tibet Autonomous Region, is located in Lang County, in the southwest of Nyingchi City, covering an area of about 4106 square kilometers, with a border line of 100 kilometers between China and India. Famous and special products mainly include many kinds of animal products, pepper, Fritillaria, wulingzhi, grape, apple, walnut, Tibetan hat, wooden bowl, etc. Mount zarisaba in the territory is a holy mountain of Buddhism. The hometown of the 13th Dalai Lama, tudengjiacuo, and the 9th Panchen Lama, qujinima, is in Lang county.
On February 6, 2019, the people's Government of Tibet Autonomous Region decided to withdraw Lang county from poverty-stricken county.

Topography
Lang county belongs to plateau and hilly landform type. The terrain is high in the north and middle, low in the south, mostly open valleys, slopes and mountains. The average altitude of the whole county is 3200 meters, and most of the mountain peaks are above 5000 meters above sea level, and most of them are covered by glaciers.
The Yarlung Zangbo River runs across the county from west to East. The whole county is divided into two parts, North and south. The south is located at the northern foot of the Himalayas, with the highest altitude of 6157.9 meters. The north is located at the southern foot of the nyainqentanglah mountains, with the highest altitude of 5572.0 meters. The two mountains form a huge "∨" valley, with the lowest altitude of 3016 meters and the elevation difference of 3141.9 meters.
The mountains fluctuate in the territory, and the surface develops into various geomorphic types under the joint action of river cutting and geological structure. The landforms in the county are divided into Alpine glacial moraine landforms, high mountains and flowing water cutting structure landforms, river terrace accumulation landforms and sand blown landforms.
LANGXIAN gorge is located between Zhongda town and the west side of Dongga town. The gorge is near East-West strike and develops along the Yarlung Zangbo River fault zone. It is a part of Shannan Jiacha gorge. It extends 56 kilometers in LANGXIAN County, with a cut depth of less than 1000 meters, a drop of about 150 meters, a valley bottom width of 80-200 meters in general, and a narrow valley of less than 50 meters in some parts (such as the north side of the county). The terrain on the west side of the canyon is steep, with a slope of 30 ° to 50 ° and a slow flow.

Lang county is rich in water resources, with a total river length of 742000 meters, 177.3 meters per square meter. There are 14 rivers and streams, and the Yarlung Zangbo River stretches and twists across the county. Each tributary takes the Yarlung River as the skeleton and radiates to the whole territory of Lang County, almost all over the whole territory of Lang county. The larger tributaries are dengmu River, laduo River, Jindong River and I-shaped Rong River, forming four gullies. Therefore, Lang county can also be called "one river, four rivers (Gullies)".
Lakes include the ladozang lake and the Shenghu lake of the Shenglang snow mountain. Among them, the Tibetan lake is 3700 meters above sea level, covering an area of 6.7 square kilometers; the Shenghu Lake in the zhaolang snow mountain is 4200 meters above sea level, covering an area of 3.7 square kilometers.
