Hongta District Hongta District is subordinate to Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. Historical evolution
Hongta District has a long history and was developed earlier. In the pre Qin period, it belonged to the ancient Dian state.
In the second year of Yuanfeng, Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty (109 BC), Yuyuan County, Yizhou County, was established.
In Shu Han Dynasty, it was Yuyuan County of Jianning County, and in Jin Dynasty, it was Yuyuan County of Jinning County.
In the Sui Dynasty, it was located in the west of ningzhou.
During the reign of Zhenguan of Tang Dynasty, it was established in Qiuzhou. In the reign of Emperor Xuanzong, Yunnan was controlled by Nanzhao. In the first year of the Shang Yuan Dynasty (760 AD), Nanzhao took Chengjiang as Heyang County, and Wenfu Prefecture was under its jurisdiction.
