Puding County Puding County, subordinate to Anshun City, Guizhou Province, is located in the west of Central Guizhou Province. It is adjacent to Xixiu District, development zone and Pingba District of Anshun City in the East, Zhenning County and Liuzhi special zone in the south, Liuzhi special zone in the West and Zhijin County in the North. On September 25, 2018, it won the honorary title of "2018 e-commerce into rural comprehensive demonstration county" of the Ministry of Commerce. On April 24, 2019, the people's Government of Guizhou Province officially approved Puding County to withdraw from the poverty-stricken county sequence.

In the fourth year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (630), Yanzhou was set up to lead Shi'an and other counties. Shi'an County ruled Xibao (today's Puding Racecourse). It was the first county in Puding. After the middle of the Tang Dynasty, it is now under the jurisdiction of the PRI Department of Luodian state.
In the Five Dynasties, it belonged to Shi'an County, part of which was owned by Wangjiang county.

In the seventh year of Xianzong (1257) of the Yuan Dynasty, PRI and Puding were attached to each other and set up ten thousand households in Puding. Soon, they were changed into Puding Prefecture and attached to xuanweisi in Qujing, Yunnan Province. This is the first time that the word "Puding" appeared as the name of an administrative region, and it is also the origin of the name of Puding County. In the 27th year of Zhiyuan Dynasty (1290), it was changed into Luodian pacification department, which was subordinate to Sichuan Province, and later to Huguang province. The next year, it was reorganized into Sichuan Province. In the 29th year of the Zhiyuan Dynasty (1292), Puding Prefecture was restored and attached to Xuanwei Department of Qujing, Yunnan Province. Dade seven years (1303), changed to Puding Road, membership unchanged. In the 11th year of Zhizheng reign (1351), Puding County, Anshun Prefecture, Da'an Prefecture, Hehong Prefecture and Xi'an prefecture were established in the former Puding Prefecture. In 1381, the Ming dynasty built Puding city. Hongwu 15 years (1382), set Puding Wei, spin promoted to Puding military and civilian command division, under the Sichuan capital division. Puding Prefecture is subordinate to Yunnan chief secretary. In the 16th year of Hongwu (1383), Xi'an Prefecture was merged into Anshun Prefecture, and Puding Prefecture was upgraded to Puding military and civilian Prefecture, which was subordinate to Sichuan chief secretary. In 1392, Anshun, Zhenning, Yongning, Xibao, and shierying, which belonged to Yunnan's chief secretary, were transferred to pudingwei, the capital of Sichuan. In the third year of Zhengtong (1438), Anshun Prefecture was under the jurisdiction of Guizhou chief secretary, Ninggu and Xibao; the 12th battalion was under the jurisdiction of Zhenning Prefecture, Guizhou chief secretary. Puding Wei was transferred to Guizhou Dusi. In Chenghua, he moved to Anshun prefecture to pudingwei, and the prefecture and Wei were governed in the same city. In 1602, Anshun Prefecture was upgraded to Anshun military and civilian government, which is now under its jurisdiction. Chongzhen three years (1630), Guizhou is the division.
In the tenth year of Kangxi reign of Qing Dynasty (1671), Puding County was changed to Puding Wei, which was subordinate to Anshun military and civilian government. In the 26th year of Kangxi (1687), Anshun Junmin government was changed to Anshun government, and nansuo was ordered to enter Puding County.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Puding County was withdrawn and merged into Anshun Prefecture. In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), Puding County was restored, and Anshun Prefecture was changed to Anshun county. The seat of Puding County was moved to Dingnan (now Puding city), which is under the jurisdiction of Guixi road. In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), Puding County moved to Dingnan. Based on some of the original territories of Puding County, the new county was formed by allocating flower arrangement land in Anshun, Zhenning, Langdai, Zhijin, Pingba and other counties. The name of the county is still in use today. In the ninth year of the Republic of China (1920), it was directly under the provincial government. In 1935, it was transferred to the second administrative supervision district of Anshun. In 1938, it was transferred to the third administrative supervision district of Xingren.
