Leibo County Leibo County, which belongs to Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province of the people's Republic of China, is located in the southwest edge of Sichuan Province, the east of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, and the North Bank of the lower reaches of Jinsha River. It faces Yongshan County of Yunnan Province across the river in the southeast, Yibin and Leshan areas in the north, Meigu County in the west, Zhaojue County and Jinyang County in the southwest, with a total area of 2932 square kilometers.
Leibo County has many kinds of tourism resources. In the East, there are provincial scenic spots, provincial geoparks and Mahu lake, the third largest high mountain and deep water lake in China; in the south, there is Jinshajiang Grand Canyon; in the west, there are 270000 Mu contiguous grassland and "dream Valley"; in the north, there are Mamize Provincial Nature Reserve and virgin forest, the southernmost habitat of giant panda in the world. Cultural tourism resources include Yi culture, folk song culture and Menghuo culture of the Three Kingdoms.

Historical evolution
Leibogu is a part of Southwest Yidi. In the sixth year of Jianyuan (135 BC), Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty set up Mantis county (belonging to Qianwei county). Qianjie county was established in the late Han Dynasty. It was changed into Mahu county (belonging to Yueyi county) in Shu Han period of the Three Kingdoms. In Tang, Five Dynasties and Song Dynasty, it was the Mahu department. In the first year of Qianyuan (758) of Tang Dynasty, the eastern area of Liangshan was under the jurisdiction of Rongzhou, Jimi, Yin, Xun, Cheng and Lang were four states, and their Xun, Cheng and Lang were all in Leibo County. In the Song Dynasty, the eastern part of Liang was Mahu Road, with 37 tribes in today's Leibo area. In 1276, Mahu road was set up in leimaping'e area, under the jurisdiction of Leibo and Muchuan. In the fourth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1371), there was the Leibo Department of Mahu Prefecture. Hongzhi eight years (1495), changed to Huanglang inspection division. In the early years of the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1662), a lawsuit was set up. In the eighth year of Yongzheng (1730), the land was changed to Liu and leibowei was set up. In the 26th year of Qianlong (1761), Wei was promoted to the Office (belonging to Xuzhou). In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the Leibo administrative office was set up, with Huanglang as the branch office, which was subordinate to Sichuan military mansion of the Han Dynasty. In 1914, it was renamed Leibo County, and in 1930, it was renamed Leshan Commissioner's office. He was liberated in May 1950, and on August 25 of the same year, Leibo County People's government was established under Leshan Commissioner's office. In 1956, it was transferred to Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture. In 1958, Wagang, Mohong and kahalo were divided into three districts, and another Wagang county was established. in 1960, Wagang county was abolished and classified as Leibo County. on February 18, 2020, after the study of Sichuan Provincial People's government, Leibo County was approved to withdraw from the poverty-stricken county.
