Abaga banner is a banner under the jurisdiction of Xilin Gol League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is located in the north central part of Xilin Gol League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It has a 175 km border with Mongolia in the north, adjacent to Xilinhot City and East Wuzhumuqin banner in the East, Sunid Left Banner in the West and Zhenglan Banner in the south.
Abaga banner is evolved from an ancient tribe. "Abaga" is Mongolian, which means "Uncle" in Chinese. Because the leader of the tribe is a descendant of the half brother of Genghis Khan of the Yuan Dynasty, the tribe he led is called the "Abaga" tribe and has been used to this day.
The tourist attractions of Abaga banner include Wuliyastai, Yandu temple, hurchagannur, mingtupu mountain "stone road through the sky".
