Yuechi County, Yuechi County, belongs to Guang'an City, Sichuan Province. Located in the northeast of Sichuan Basin, the county was established in 697, the second year of Wansui Tongtian in Wuzhou of Tang Dynasty. In January 1950, the people's Government of Yuechi County was established. It has 25 townships and 2 sub district offices. Yuechi is located in subtropical humid monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons, early spring, hot summer, cool autumn, warm winter, and early spring warming. Located in the central Sichuan Basin, it is rich in oil, natural gas, brine, rock salt and other resources.
Yuechi County is an important part of Northeast Sichuan Economic Zone, which is located in Sichuan Chongqing Cooperation Demonstration Zone and Chongqing one hour economic circle. Yuechi Rural Cultural Tourism Festival is one of the ten famous festivals in Sichuan. Evolution of organizational system
In 697, it was divided into Nanchong county and Xiangru county (now Pengan County in Nanchong City) and Yuechi County. It is named because of the Yuechi water in Yuean mountain. It belongs to Jiannan Daoguo Prefecture. At first, it was in siyuechi.

The fourth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1371) belongs to Guang'an Prefecture of Shunqing Prefecture.
In 1668, it was incorporated into Guang'an Prefecture.

In 1911, Yu Linchuan, a native of Dazhu County, led the volunteers to Yuechi, ending the reign of the Qing Dynasty in Yuechi and being subordinate to the northern Shu military government of the Han Dynasty. In the first year of the Republic of China, he was attached to the Sichuan military government of the Han Dynasty; in April of the same year, he was attached to the Sichuan governor's office. The Republic of China (1912) abolished the imperial system of the Qing Dynasty and set up provinces, prefectures, prefectures and other administrative regions. In September 1952, the administrative region of northern Sichuan was withdrawn, belonging to Nanchong special region of Sichuan Province.
In 1968, Nanchong district was changed into Nanchong District, belonging to Nanchong district.
On July 2, 1993, the State Council approved the establishment of Guang'an Prefecture. Yuechi County was under the jurisdiction of Guang'an Prefecture from Nanchong Prefecture.
On July 31, 1998, the State Council approved the abolition of Guang'an Prefecture and the establishment of Guang'an City. Yuechi County is subordinate to Guang'an City.

In 1722, the number of households in Yuechi County was 21 Li (110 households per Li). During the reign of Jiaqing (1796-1820), the number of households increased to 28 Li, belonging to three townships: Dongguan, Xiguan and zima. In 1921, the Township insurance system was implemented, which was divided into three districts and 48 townships.

In October 1950, the county was divided into 10 districts and 56 townships.
From 1951 to 1952, Chengguan District, 11th district (Gaoxing), 12th district (Pu'an) and 13th district (Huilong) were added; Zisheng, Baita, Xima, Xinjian, Xinchang, Tashui, Jiefang, shigu, Shipan, Xinguan, Jianshe, Xinhua, Sihe, Hanshan, Heping, Changtian, Gaosi, Shicheng, Hongmiao, Dacheng, cuilong, Tiantai, Xiangshan, Tianbao and Quhe were added There are 31 townships, including Xikou, Xinhe, Yingjiao, Yujia, Yangliu and zongba, 7 townships, including Youxi, Guxian, Goujiao, Shiya, Luodu, Zhonghe and Qinghua, and 6 townships, including Chengguan, Xima, Xinjian, Yangzhong, Li'an and Dafo, have been abolished. In 1955, in the process of social reconstruction, the district and township system was adjusted accordingly. District 12 was abolished and merged into districts 8 and 9; District 13 was abolished and merged into District 7; Yangliu and zongba were merged into Yangzhong township; District 5 was abolished and merged into District 4; Hanshan township was abolished and merged into Xinglong Township. At this time, except Chengguan and Chengjiao, each district was named after its place name. Agricultural production cooperatives should be established in rural areas. The county has 11 districts, 86 townships, 7 towns and 2464 agricultural production cooperatives.
In 1956, the organization was simplified and the administrative division was adjusted again. To abolish Baimiao District, which has jurisdiction over townships and is divided into suburbs and Youxi district; to abolish Guxian District, which is merged into Goujiao district; to abolish Zisheng, Xiangfeng, Shengli, Shanshui, Xinguan, shigu, Xinhua, Jianshe, Minzhu, Gaoqiao, Shicheng, Hongmiao, Dacheng, cuilong, Tiantai, Sanjian, Quhe, Qinghe, Jixin, Xiangshan, Yujia, Yingjiao, zongba, Tashui, Duanqiao, Sihe and other 26 townships. In 1957, Chengguan District was renamed Chengguan Town (district level town); Xiangfeng and Jixin townships were restored.
In September 1958, the rural people's commune (hereinafter referred to as "commune") was established, and the village was the management area (later changed to the brigade). In addition to Baimiao, Yangzhong, Zhengjia, Xinchang, Hexing five townships merged to form Dianguang commune (district level), other townships established communes respectively. At the same time, Yuejin (Garden) commune was added. In 1959, Jixin commune was changed into Qianjin commune and Qingxi commune was abolished. The county has eight districts, one district level town, seven township level towns and 58 communes.

In 1961, Baimiao, Xinglong and Gu counties and districts were restored; Dianguang commune was abolished; 13 townships, Baimiao, Jixin, Jianshe, Xinchang, Yangzhong, Hexing, Zhengjia, Tashui, cuilong, Quhe, Hongmiao, Gaoqiao and shigu, were merged, and communes were established. In 1962, Puya commune was added, and Xiangfeng commune was changed into Xiangshui commune. In 1963, the new commune was abolished and Qingxi commune was restored.
In 1978, Qingying industrial and agricultural demonstration zone (now Huaying City) was set up in Qingying Town, Qinghua commune, Fuxing commune, Jixin commune, Xikou commune and Xinhe commune under Huaying District, Gaoxin commune and Yanghe commune under Zhonghe District, and Shuanghe commune in Guang'an County.
