Historical evolution
The origin of the name
Pengzhou has a long history. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, more than 3000 years ago, the people of Pengzhou lived and multiplied here. Later, they established their business and prospered the country, and established their capital in haiwozi ancient town (called Qushang in ancient times, in today's Tongji Town of Pengzhou). In 686 ad, Pengzhou was set up. Pengzhou's appellation Yuanhe county annals is interpreted as "Pengzhou uses Minshan Mountain to guide the river, where the river comes out of the mountain, and the two mountains are opposite. In ancient times, it was called tianpengmen, because it was named after it.". This is the origin of the name of Pengzhou.
Evolution of organizational system
It is said that more than 3000 years ago in the Western Zhou Dynasty, there were Peng people living and working here. After that, it became the original core part of the Shu nationality in Cuba. Later, he wrote" Wang RI Du ", who taught the people to work in agriculture and moved to Pixi.". Today, "chengshang" refers to Xinxing town in Pengzhou, "Jianshan" refers to Yangping mountain near Xinxing Town, "Guoyi" refers to Jiulong loess hilly area adjacent to Guihua Town, Longfeng Town, Lichun town and Qingxing township.
In 316 BC, after the Qin Dynasty exterminated Shu, the implementation of the prefecture system began in jingnei county.
