Geji county is under the jurisdiction of Ali Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Located in the west of Tibet, the source of Shiquan river. Historical evolution
Guge kingdom was established in Ali around the 10th century by jidenimagun, the great grandson of zamprandama, the last Tubo Dynasty. Guge is the general name after the merger of Zada and zabulang. The hinterland and ruins of Guge are in zabulang village, a small village with only 20 or 30 households. in the middle of the 17th century, civil strife broke out in the Guge Dynasty, and the king's younger brother asked Ladakh's army to attack the palace.
