Shixing County, belonging to Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, is located in the north of Guangdong Province, at the south foot of Nanling Mountains, in the upper reaches of Beijiang River and the middle reaches of Zhenjiang river. It spans 113 ° 54 ′ e-114 ° 22 ′ N and 24 ° 31 ′ n-25 ° 60 ′ n. The total area is 2174.12 square kilometers. Shixing County is the hometown of Zhang Jiuling, a famous prime minister in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, Tan Dachu, a minister of household affairs in the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Fakui, a famous Anti Japanese general, and Zhu Xiping, a mathematician. It was called "granary in northern Guangdong" in ancient times and "Pearl of Nanling" today. Shixing is a pure Hakka County, where Hakka is spoken all over the country.

History of construction
According to the research of stone tools and animal ossification stone unearthed from the cemented accumulation of shell in Linglong rock in the south of the city, the ancestors lived and multiplied here in the primitive times.
In the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, the land belonged to the South Cross. Yugong is the southern part of Yangzhou.
The spring and Autumn period (770-476 BC) was the place of Baiyue (Yue).
The Warring States period (475-221 BC) belonged to Chu.
In the 26th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (221 BC), it belonged to Nanhai county.
At the beginning of the Han Dynasty, Zhao Tuo, the South China Sea prefect, ruled Lingnan and Nanyue separately.
In the fifth year of the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC), Yuzhang county was set up and Nanjiu (Ye) county was set up. This territory belongs to Nanchou county. At that time, Nanshu region governed Nankang, Dayu, Chongyi, Shangyou and Xinfeng in Jiangxi Province, and parts of Shixing, Nanxiong and Renhua in Guangdong Province.
In the first year of Jianwu in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Nanlu was changed into Nanye. In 194, the first year of Liu Xie's Xingping reign, Yuling county was established in Yuzhang county. Nanye county belongs to Luling county.
After the battle of Chibi (208), the tripod of the Three Kingdoms was divided, and the territory belonged to Wu.
Wu Sunquan Jiahe five years (236), Luling County divided into southern Duwei, the territory is southern Duwei.

In the first year of Ganlu (265), SUN Hao established Shixing County in the south of Guiyang in November, and unified seven counties, namely Qujiang, Guiyang, Shixing, Hanya, Zhenyang, Zhongsu and Yangshan. Shixing County belongs to Shixing County.
In the first year of Taiyu (472), Emperor song and Ming of the Southern Dynasty changed Shixing County into Guangxing county.
In 479, Emperor Gaodi of Qi renamed Shixing County. In Southern Qi, XieJian county was set up and then changed to Lingjie county. In April of 506, Emperor Wudi of Liang changed its name to Zhengjie county.
In the second year of Liang Datong (536), Zhengji was incorporated into Shixing County.
From the first year to the fourth year of chengshengzhong (552-555), Emperor Liang Yuan set up Anyuan County.
In 557, Emperor Chen Wu changed Anyuan County into Anyuan County.
In the ninth year of kaihuang (589) of the Sui Dynasty, the county was abolished and changed to Anyuan County, where Dayu county was set up. In the fourth year of Wude (621) of the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Fanzhou and was soon renamed donghengzhou.

In the first year of Empress Wu Zetian's guangzhai (684), Zhenchang county (now Nanxiong county) was set up in Huanan and Hengshan townships in the north of Shixing County.
In 742, Shaozhou was changed into Shixing County. In the first year of Qianlong (758), Shaozhou was restored.
In the fourth year of Qianhe in the Southern Han Dynasty (946), it was established in Xiongzhou. This is the beginning of the name "Xiongzhou". Shixing County belongs to Xiongzhou.
In the fourth year of Kaibao in the Song Dynasty (971), there was a Xiongzhou on Hebei Road, so the word "Nan" was added to distinguish it. This is the beginning of Nanxiong.
In 1120, it was named Baochang.
In 1278, the emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty changed Nanxiong Prefecture into a road, which was subordinate to the Marshal's office of Xuanwei envoy of Guangdong Province.
In the first year of Hongwu (1368) of the Ming Dynasty, Nanxiong road was changed into a government office, belonging to Lingnan Road, which was subordinate to the Minister of state affairs.
In the 12th year of Jiaqing (1807), Nanxiong Prefecture was changed to Zhili Prefecture, and Baochang county was removed. It was subordinate to the Secretary of Guangdong Chengxuan government, and belonged to Shixing County.
The Republic of China was founded (1912). The local government was established at the provincial and county levels. Shixing County was subordinate to Guangdong Province. In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), there were roads between provinces and counties, and Shixing belonged to Lingnan road. In the ninth year of the Republic of China (1920), it belonged to Beijiang Shanhou office and Beijiang appeasement office. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), it belonged to the office of the Commissioner of administrative supervision of the second district. In 1938, it was a province directly under the central government.
On September 25, 1949, the whole territory of Shixing was liberated, and the county people's government was established under the Beijiang provisional people's Administrative Committee.
On January 27, 1950, it belonged to the office of Beijiang people's administrative inspector.
In November 1952, it belonged to the North Guangdong administrative office. In March 1956, it belonged to the office of Shaoguan commissioner.
On December 10, 1958, Shixing and Nanxiong merged into Nanxiong county.
On October 15, 1960, Shixing County and Nanxiong County resumed their organizational system, which belongs to the Shaoguan regional Commissioner's office.
In June 1983, Shaoguan area was merged with Shaoguan City, and Shixing County was under the jurisdiction of Shaoguan City.

On September 25, 1949, the people's Government of Shixing County was established. It has jurisdiction over Taiping Town, one district (Mashi), two districts (Shensuo), three districts (dungang), four districts (Luoba) and five districts (Qinghua). In December, Taiping town was changed into Chengguan District.
In April 1950, Shixing County was divided into five districts, namely Chengguan District, first district, Second District, third district and fourth district, with a total of 23 townships.
In June 1951, six districts and 81 townships were set up in Shixing County.
In January 1953, dungang was separated from the three districts and merged into Chengguan District. Another Taiping town was built to take charge of urban residents. In September, Chengguan District was changed into three districts, Luoba District into four districts, and Qinghua District into five districts. From March to October 1956, Zhongba Yao Autonomous township was established in the Second District, Changmei Yao Autonomous township was established in the third district, and hewushui Yao Autonomous township was established in the Fifth District.
From February 16 to March 5, 1956, 81 townships from one town in five districts were organized into 26 townships: Taiping Town, Mashi, Luyuan, Dutang, Ejing, Shensuo, huangsuo, Jiangkou north, Jiangkou south, Luosuo, Sanyue, Wuyue, yaosha, dungang, zhousuo, Gaoliu, Pianqu, Luoba, Chengjiang, duheng, Tankeng, Siqian, Huangsha, YUEWU, huwan and Aowei.
On November 25, 1957, houpi and Wugang townships (more than 300 people) were transferred from Nanxiong to Shixing County. Longkeng of Jiangkou township (more than 60 people) is a flower arrangement land in Renhua of Shixing County.
In June 1958, it was divided into 11 townships, namely Taiping Town, Mashi, Shensuo, dungang, Luoba, Chengjiang, Jiangkou, Xincun, Siqian, Aizi and Minzu township. From September 12 to 19, the township was removed and people's communes were established. From 10 agricultural cooperatives, four people's communes were established: upstream (Mashi, Luyuan, Beishan), satellite (Taiping Town, Chengjiao, Xincun, Shensuo, huangsuo, Jiangkou), Hongqi (dungang, Chengjiang, shendushui, Luoba, duheng), Yuejin (Siqian, Aizi). On December 10, Shixing and Nanxiong were merged into Nanxiong County, where they worked in Nanxiong City. The upstream commune was changed into Mashi commune, and the satellite, red flag and Yuejin were merged into Shixing commune.
On May 4, 1960, Shixing commune was adjusted to Shixing, Shensuo, dungang, Luoba, Qinghua people's commune, Shirenzhang tungsten mining commune, Chengjiang forestry commune, Liujiashan forest farm and Danyuan livestock farm. On October 15, the prefectural Party committee decided to resume the organizational system of Shixing County. There are 8 people's communes in town, suburb, Shensuo, dungang, Luoba, Chengjiang, Qinghua and Mashi.
In August 1961, Chengjiao was divided into Chengjiao and Chengnan communes, Shensuo into Shensuo and Jiangkou communes, and Qinghua into Siqian and Aizi communes. There are 11 communes in the county, including towns, suburbs, Chengnan, Mashi, Shensuo, Jiangkou, dungang, Chengjiang, Luoba, Siqian and Aizi. In October 1964, the town commune was changed into Hongqi Town.
In August 1977, Mashi was divided into Mashi commune and Luyuan commune, dungang commune was divided into dungang commune and shendushui commune, Luoba commune was divided into Luoba commune and duheng commune, Wugang commune and guancha commune of Jiangkou commune and qixindong commune of Mashi were divided into Beishan Forest Farm.
