Huaian County Huaian County, belonging to Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Hebei Province, at the junction of Shanxi, Hebei and Inner Mongolia provinces (districts), and at the intersection of Beijing Tianjin Hebei metropolitan area and Shanxi Hebei Inner Mongolia economic circle, known as the "Golden Triangle". Huaian County has a long history. It was established as early as the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period. In the second year of Changqing of emperor Mu Zong of Tang Dynasty, that is 822 A.D., it was named Huaian County after the meaning of "benevolent government by the imperial court, benevolent and peaceful people". The county has a vast territory, high in the West and low in the East, belonging to the hilly area. The regional area is 1706 square kilometers, and the available land area is 1.5 million mu, including 600000 mu of cultivated land. It has jurisdiction over 4 towns, 7 townships, 273 administrative villages, 247000 people, including 178000 agricultural population.
Huai'an county is known as "cultural county". In Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were more than 400 Jinshi, Juren and Shengren. In modern times, there emerged such national leaders and people with lofty ideals as Kang Shien, Ruan Muhan and Li Jiansheng. It is one of the five "towns of go" in China. The food culture is profound and extensive. Smoked meat, bean curd skin and a nest of silk cakes are called "three treasures of Huai'an". They have been selected into the Chinese Food Dictionary and are well-known in Shanxi, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Beijing and Tianjin. There are many natural landscapes, including Longdong mountain hunting ground, shangshuiyuan international ecological demonstration area and Taiwan new Dongyang leisure resort. Scenic spots and historic sites include the Ming Zhaohua temple and the ancient Great Wall.
In April 2020, it was selected as "excellent county (city, district) in sports work in 2019" by Hebei Provincial Sports Bureau.
Historical evolution
During the Xia Dynasty and Shang Dynasty, Jizhou was one of the nine states in the Xia Dynasty.
The Western Zhou Dynasty was divided into Youzhou and Bingzhou,
In the spring and Autumn period, it belonged to the Dai state, which was enfeoffed by the Western Zhou Dynasty. In the Warring States period, it belonged to the Dai County of Zhao state,
After the unification of the six states by Qin Dynasty, Huai'an was subordinate to Dai County of Dai County (today's Wei county is the King City).
In the Western Han Dynasty, in the first year of Emperor Wu's Yuanfeng reign (110 BC), Yiyu county was established in the north of old Huai'an village in the south of the county, which governs Nanchuan county. It belongs to Youzhou Daijun County, which was abolished immediately. Its land was merged into Xialuo county (now Zhuolu county), which belongs to Shanggu County of Youzhou governor department. In the fifth year of Yuanfeng (106 BC), Emperor Wu set up Macheng County in the northwest of the county (southwest of today's dongyanghe Village), which governs the west of the county and the southwest of Wanquan county. It is the governor's office in the east of Daijun county and belongs to the governor's Department of Bingzhou.
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, it still belonged to Shanggu and Daijun. In the 15th year of Emperor Guangwu's Jianwu (39th year), in order to avoid Xiongnu, Shanggu and Daijun officials were sent to Juyong Pass. In the 26th year (50th year), they returned to their hometown. In the 18th year of emperor Xiandi's Jian'an (213th year), you merged two prefectures and entered Jizhou. The county was Jizhou. The Three Kingdoms belong to Shanggu County of weiyouzhou. In the middle and late period of the Wei Dynasty, Yiyu County in the east of the county was abolished, and immediately changed to Xialuo county.
In the Western Jin Dynasty, in 274, Emperor Wudi set Guangning County as Shanggu county. Most of the county belonged to Youzhou Daijun, and the Northeast belonged to Guangning County. Xialuo county was abandoned in Macheng county.
In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the county was occupied by Turks and Xianbei. In 338, Emperor Cheng of Jin Dynasty was occupied by shile of later Zhao Dynasty. In 350, Emperor mu of Jin Dynasty was occupied by Murong Jun of former Yan Dynasty. In 370, Sima Yitai was occupied by Fu Jian of the former Qin Dynasty. In 376, Emperor Xiaowu of Jin Dynasty was occupied by murongchui of later Yan Dynasty. Taiyuan 21 years (396 years) was occupied by the Northern Wei Tuoba Li.
In the northern and Southern Dynasties, it still belonged to the Northern Wei Dynasty. Today, the west of the county is under the jurisdiction of Daijun of Hengzhou and beilingqiu army. In 486, Emperor Xiaowen (Tuoba Yuanhong) set up Daning County in nanxintun and governed Xiaoning (now Wanquan county) and Daning (now Zhangjiakou City). The east of the county is under the jurisdiction of Daning County of Yanzhou.
After the fall of the Northern Wei Dynasty (534), it belonged to the Eastern Wei Dynasty. In the fourth year of Wuding (546), Emperor Xiaojing of the Eastern Wei Dynasty (yuan Shanjian), Yanzhou was abolished. It was divided into Hengzhou and East Yanzhou (now Changping County) and governed Daning County. In 550, it belonged to the Northern Qi Dynasty. Later (Gaowei) in the third year of Wuping (572), the county was divided into East Yanzhou, North Yanzhou (Zhijin Zhuolu), abandoned Daning County, Changning County and Yongfeng county. In 565, it belonged to the Northern Zhou Dynasty. In 577, it was changed from northern Yanzhou to Yanzhou.
In the Sui Dynasty, the county was located in Huairong County, Zhuolu county (now Zhuolu Baodai). Huaian was Huairong County, Zhuolu county at this time.
In the Tang Dynasty, the county was occupied by Turks in 618 and belonged to northern Yanzhou. In 630, Turks came down to Tang Dynasty. In 634, Taizong changed northern Yanzhou to Guizhou. Today, the eastern part of the county belongs to Huairong County of Guizhou. In 743, Xuanzong changed Guizhou into Guichuan county. The rulers of the Tang Dynasty took the Confucian classic meaning of "benevolent government by the imperial court, benevolent and peaceful people" as the name of the county. In the second year of emperor Mu Zong's Changqing reign (822), Huaian County was established in the north of today's old Huaian village, belonging to Hebei daoxinzhou (today's Zhuolu). During the Huichang period of Wuzong (841-846), Xinzhou was renamed Wuding army of Shanbei eight armies, and Huaian County was under the jurisdiction of Wuding army.
During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, in the second year of Tongguang (924) of Zhuangzong in the later Tang Dynasty, the army was changed to weisai army and Huaian County was abolished. In the third year of Tianfu (938), Emperor Gaozu of the later Jin Dynasty, Shi Jingtang cut the Yanyun prefectures to Qidan, and all the counties entered the Liao Dynasty. In the south, it belonged to Fengsheng Prefecture at first, and later to Datong Prefecture on Xijing road. The northeast part belongs to xuandezhou, Xijing road.
In 963, Liao Mu Zong (yelujing) divided Wende County into Huaian County (governing Huaian now and old) with 3000 leading households and 6000 rural soldiers, belonging to Fengsheng Prefecture. In the third year of Kaitai (1014), Liao Shengzong (yelulungxu) set up Dezhou in Zuowei, led Weining County (with Dezhou) and Huai'an County, and in 1044, it was transferred to Datong Prefecture of Xijing road.
In the second year of Chengan (1197), Emperor Zhangzong of Jin set up the second year of Baoda (1122, the fourth year of Xuanhe, Huizong of Northern Song Dynasty) in Daxin Town (now xuanpingbao, Wanquan county). Jin defeated Qidan and returned Xinzhou and other places to Song Dynasty. In the second year of Tianhui (1124, Huizong of Northern Song Dynasty), it returned to Jin. The county belongs to Datong mansion, Xijing road. In the seventh year of Dading, Emperor Shizong of Jin Dynasty (the third year of Qiandao, Emperor Xiaozong of Southern Song Dynasty, 1167), Dezhou was established. The county is divided into Xuande prefecture (now Xuanhua) and Datong Prefecture. In 1197, Jin Zhangzong established Xuanping County in Daxin Town (now xuanpingbao, Wanquan county).
In 1260, Huai'an county was cut from Xuande Prefecture, which was under the jurisdiction of Longxing Prefecture. In 1262, Xuanping County in the east still belongs to xuandezhou, Shangdu road. In 1321, Xuanping county was transferred to xinnanzhuang (now zuoweixi Shili), which belongs to shunning Prefecture of Shangdu road in Zhongshu Province, and later to Xuande Prefecture. The southwest is Xinghe road.
In the early Ming Dynasty, it was subordinate to Xinghe Prefecture of Beijing, and later to Datong Prefecture of Shanxi. In 1370, the county was occupied by Tatars and Huai'an county was abolished. People moved to Juyongguan and set up Huaian Shouyu qianhusuo. Xuanping county was abolished in the fourth year of Hongwu.
In the 23rd year of Hongwu (1390), qianhusuo was abolished and huaianwei was set up. In February of the 26th year, huaianwei was moved from old huaiancun to present huaiancheng. It first belonged to xingdusi of Shanxi Province, and then to beipingdusi. Yongle 16 years (1418) revolution Beiping capital command department, under the capital. In the 17th year, Bao'an right guard moved from shunshengchuan (now Yangyuan) to Xisha city.
In 1422, he moved to Huai'an City. Xuanzong Xuande five years (1430) set Wan all command department, jurisdiction Huaian Wei, Wanquan left guard, security right guard and so on. In June of that year, Baoan right guard was changed to Huai'an guard. In 1437, the second year of Yingzong Zhengtong, Chaigou fort was built and a general was set up. Xianzong Chenghua eight years (1472 years) in chaigoupu set up fenshou West Road general. The 45th year of emperor Shizong's Jiajing reign (1566) was divided into Shangxi road and Xiaxi road. Zuowei belonged to Shangxi Road, and Chaigoubao, Xiyanghe and Huaian belonged to Xiaxi road. In 1635, shangxiaxi road and Nanshan Road in the south of Huai'an were changed to fenshou road.
At the beginning of Shunzhi, Emperor Shizu of the Qing Dynasty continued to use the Ming system and still belonged to Zhili. Shunzhi eight years (1651) cut Chaigoubao general, huaianwei is wanquandusi. Emperor Kangxi four years (1665) to Li Shanxi. In 1693, Xiyanghe, Chaigoubao and Zuowei were merged into Huai'an, and huaianwei was changed into Huai'an County, which belonged to Xuanhua house of Baoding political envoy in Zhili. Shizong Yongzheng ten years (1732) chaigoupu changed the capital division.
In 1913, Xuanhua Prefecture of Zhili was abolished, and Huaian County was changed to Koubei road.
In 1929, Zhili was transformed into Hebei Province. Chahar district was upgraded to Chahar Province, which belongs to Huai'an county.
In March of 1930 (April 1, 1941), Huai'an and Wanquan were merged, known as Wan'an County, and chaigoupu Town, known as Wan'an town. During the Anti Japanese War, it was the 13th special area of Jicha district.
On August 15, 1945, Japan surrendered. In November, Chahar province was restored. Huai'an county belongs to Chanan special district, and Huai'an County governs Huai'an City.
From the 35th year of the Republic of China to the 36th year of the Republic of China during the war of liberation, the political power was transferred underground and a temporary United county was built. The counties were tianyanghuai (Tianzhen, Yanggao, Huaian) United County, xingtianhuai (Xinghe, Tianzhen, Huaian) United county and xuanzhuohuai (Xuanhua, Zhuolu, Huaian) United county.
In 1948, Lianhe county was abolished and Huai'an county system was restored, belonging to Chanan district.
On November 29, 1948, the PLA liberated the county for the second time. Before and after the founding of new China, it was bounded by Yanghe and Wanquan County in the north, Guduo mountain and Xuanhua County in the East, lingguanmiao mountain, huwo mountain and Tianzhen County in Shanxi Province in the south.
In 1951, the county government moved from Huai'an City to chaigoupu.
On November 15, 1952, Chahar province was abolished and transferred to Hebei Province. Huai'an County belonged to Zhangjiakou district.
In October 1958, Huai'an and Wanquan counties were merged to govern chaigoupu.
