geological structure
In addition to the wide distribution of Quaternary strata in Shouguang City, the lower Tertiary strata of Cenozoic are mainly distributed, followed by the Cambrian strata of Paleozoic in Shouguang uplift area, and the upper Tertiary strata of Cenozoic are distributed in the southeast of Shouguang county. Its main lithology: the top of Quaternary (q) is loess layer, yellowish brown and gray white gravel clay layer; the lower part is gravel layer. The thickness varies from 50 to 300 meters. The Neogene (n) is composed of purple gray, black green basalt, brown clay rock, clay and sandstone, with red conglomerate at the bottom, with a thickness of more than 200m. The upper part of Cambrian (E) is greyish green fine sandstone, the lower part is brick red clay rock and sandstone, and the bottom is red conglomerate, with a thickness of more than 200 meters. Cambrian (∈) is gray limestone with yellow green argillaceous banded limestone and bamboo leaf limestone. The thickness is unknown.
On the geotectonic position, Shouguang City is located in the northeast of Luxi uplift area, the east end of Jiyang depression, and the west side of the north section of Yimu fault zone. Specifically speaking, it is located in Jiyang depression basin. Shouguang protuberance is developed in the territory.
Before Mesozoic, Shouguang City and Luxi uplift were integrated, and the tectonic movement was synchronous with Luxi uplift. Since the Mesozoic Yanshanian movement, it has been separated from the western Shandong uplift and developed into fault block movement. Jiyang depression and Weixi depression are both the products of Yanshanian movement. The structural form is mainly fault structure with magmatic activity. There are mainly three groups of fault structures in the territory: EW, NE and NW, forming a grid. Weixi sag is divided into many small fault blocks. The largest fault zone is the NNE trending Mihe hidden fault. The fold structures on both sides of the fault are roughly east-west. There are xizhaike protrusion and Niutouzhen depression in the west, xichahe protrusion, Southeast depression of Shangkou, South Korea protrusion and Xidian depression in the East. Weixi sag is distributed in the east-west direction. With the structural change, the Mesozoic Cenozoic strata are widely accepted in the area, and its thickness is more than 7000 meters.
topographic features
Shouguang City is located in a plain area which slowly decreases from south to north. The highest point of elevation is at the top of Bu in the southeast corner of Sanyuanzhu village, sunjiaji Town, with an elevation of 49.5 meters; the lowest point is near Laohekou of Dajiawa Town, with an elevation of 1 meter. The relative elevation difference between the north and the south is 48.5 meters, the horizontal distance is 70 kilometers, and the average slope is 1 / 10000. The river and surface runoff flow from southwest to northeast, forming a micro geomorphic difference between Daping and Xiaoping.
The terrain of Shouguang City is divided into three parts and seven micro geomorphic units.
Xungang District in Shounan starts from dalijiazhuang, sunjiaji town in the west, passes near zhangjiamiaozi, Dongbu Township, and ends at Guancun village, Wangwang township. It is the tail of the alluvial fan in the north of Taiyi mountain area. The parent material of the soil is mostly alluvial, and the soil quality is good. The terrain of the whole area is high, the ground fluctuates greatly, the surface runoff is strong, and the phreatic water depth is more than 5m. Most of the soil types are cinnamon soil and fluvo aquic cinnamon soil.
In the middle part of the plain, the terrain is gentle and the slope is very small. There are many micro geomorphic units, such as beach highland, gentle slope and depression between rivers. Due to the influence of rivers, each geomorphic unit is distributed in a north-south interval strip. The parent material of the soil is river alluvium. The beach highlands are mainly distributed in the east of Danhe River, from tianmabei in the south to the south end of Wutai Township in the north; along the Mihe River, from Huying and Jitai Township in the south, to Daokou and Nanhe Township in the north, and to Shouguang City in the north. The terrain is relatively high, the altitude is more than 9 meters, the diving is deep, the hydrothermal conditions are good, and the cinnamon fluvo aquic soil and fluvo aquic soil are mainly developed. The inter River depression and the beach highland are distributed in parallel. Gentle slope land is mainly distributed in most of Madian Township in the middle and south of Fengcheng and nanchai township. The terrain is low, the phreatic water is shallow, and wet fluvo aquic soil is mostly developed. In some low-lying areas, Shajiang black soil is developed. Coastal shallow depressions mainly include all or most of Houzhen, Dajiawa, Daokou, Yangzhuang and Wopu townships, and the north of Nanhe Township and Taitou. The terrain is low, with an altitude of 4-7 meters. The parent materials of the soil are marine sediments and fluvial alluvium. The groundwater depth is 1-3m, and the mineralization degree is high. The soil is coastal saline soil and coastal tidal saline soil.
