Shinan District, belonging to Qingdao City, Shandong Province, is located in the south of Qingdao city. Its center is located at 120 ° 19 ′ E and 36 ° 04 ′ n, with a total area of 30.01 square kilometers. Shinan District was founded in the period of German occupation of Qingdao (early 20th century), but it has a long history. In the 21st year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1388), Jimo county built a city on the East China Sea and set up aoshanwei, which was under the jurisdiction of fushansuo and xiongyasuo. At the end of 1949, Shinan District was one of the seven districts under the jurisdiction of Qingdao.
The landform of Shinan District can be divided into mountains, hills, coastal lowlands and so on. The existing landform is mainly formed by the ancient crystalline rock basement through fault dislocation and the segmentation and erosion of river and sea water. The rivers along Qingdao River and fushankou originate from the Coastal Hilly Area, which is located in the north temperate monsoon region and belongs to the temperate monsoon climate.
In 2018, Shinan District has 10 streets under its jurisdiction, with a permanent resident population of 588300, realizing a GDP of 120.337 billion yuan, of which the added value of the secondary industry is 11.512 billion yuan and the added value of the tertiary industry is 108.825 billion yuan.
History of construction
Shinan District was founded in the period of German occupation of Qingdao (early 20th century), but it has a long history.
In the 21st year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1388), Jimo county built a city on the east coast of the East China Sea and set up aoshanwei, under the jurisdiction of Fushan Suo (full name Fushan Beiyu qianhusuo) and xiongyasuo. Some mainlanders (most of whom are said to be from Yunnan, Guizhou and Shanxi) moved to settle down on the East Bank of Jiaozhou Bay. After Yongle years of Ming Dynasty, shangqingdao village, xiaqingdao village, Huiqian village, xiaoniwa village, xiaozhanshan village, dazhanshan village, Tianjia village, Dayao village, Xiaoyao village, Zhangjiazhuang (later renamed Kangjia Village), Dingjia village and Xinjia Village) were established in Shinan District. While farming, villagers also go fishing.
In the sixth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1578), Jimo was allowed to open the port of Qingdao in the county (that is, in front of tianhougong and east of Zhanqiao in the southern part of the city). The maritime trade became more and more active, trading with Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Huai.
In 1863, a telegraph room and a post office were set up at the mouth of Qingdao, and more shops and handicraft workshops appeared. Today, the central and western parts of Shinan District have become a gathering place for tourists and businessmen. In 1891, the Qing government decided to fortify jiaoao, which was the beginning of the establishment of Qingdao. In the following year, Zhang Gaoyuan, the chief soldier of Dengzhou Town, was transferred to jiaoao to build the chief soldier's Mansion (commonly known as the old yamen, the site of today's people's Hall) on the East Bank of xiaqingdao village. According to Hu cunyue's notes on Haiyun hall, the scale of the chief soldier's mansion was larger than that of the county yamen Shimkou (now the western coastal area of Shinan District) has gradually formed a town of initial scale.
In 1897, Germany occupied Qingdao. In June of the 26th year of Guangxu (1900), the concession was divided into inner boundary and outer boundary. The inner boundary is called Qingdao District, including Qingdao, dabaodao, xiaoniwa, mengjiagou, xiaobaodao, Yangjiacun, Taidong Town, broom beach and Huiqian. Most of Qingdao district is located in Shinan District, and the rest is called Licun district. In 1910, nine districts in the inner boundary were merged into four districts: Qingdao, dabaodao, Taidong town and Taixi town.
In 1914, after Japan occupied Qingdao for the first time, it divided the occupied area into Qingdao district and Licun district. Now Shinan District is located in Qingdao district.
In December 1922, the Chinese government took back jiaoao and established it as a commercial port. According to the articles of association of jiaoao commercial port, it was named Qingdao City, with the boundary of Qingdao street, Taidong town and Taixi town as the area, and other places as townships. Today, most of Shinan District is in the area of Shijie and Taixi town.
In April 1929, the Nanjing national government took over Qingdao and designated it as a special city. In March 1933, there were five grade a districts, three grade B districts and four grade C districts. Today, most of the southern districts belong to grade a districts. In October of the same year, there were one office in Dagang, Taidong and Taixi, which were called the first, second and third districts of the city Most of Shinan District is under the management of the joint office.
In May 1935, Qingdao adjusted its urban and rural offices, and set up one construction office in Dongzhen, Xizhen, Haibin, Fushan, etc. Today, Shinan District is under the management of Xizhen, Haibin, Fushan and Xiaogang offices.
In January 1938, Japan occupied Qingdao for the second time and forced Baojia organization to be set up through the police station and other institutions. In April 1945, the general joint insurance office was set up in Shinan, shinbei, Dongzhen, Xizhen and Sifang.
In 1946, during the second reign of Nanjing National Government, Qingdao was divided into seven districts: Shinan, Shibei, Taidong and sicang. Baojia is divided into 12 districts (including 4 urban districts and 8 rural districts), and the four urban districts are Shinan District, Shibei District, Taidong district and Taixi district. Shinan District as an administrative division began from this.
With the liberation of Qingdao on June 2, 1949, Shinan District began to enter a new historical development period.
administrative division
Division evolution
In 1900, Shinan District belonged to Qingdao district and Huiqian District of jiaoao concession. The second year of Xuantong (1910) belonged to Qingdao district and Taixi town.
After the Chinese government regained the sovereignty of Qingdao in 1922, it belonged to Qingdao District, villa district and West town; after the Nanjing national government ruled Qingdao in 1929, it belonged to the first district and the second district; in 1935, it belonged to Haibin District, West Town and Fushan District; in 1938, it belonged to Shinan Baojia administration after Japan occupied Qingdao for the second time After the Nanjing national government ruled Qingdao for the second time in 1946, Shinan District was established and became one of the four urban districts of Qingdao.
At the end of 1949, Shinan District was one of the seven districts under the jurisdiction of Qingdao.
In 1954, Qingdao abolished Fushan District, and assigned Maidao Township, Fukang Township, Fuxi Township, and Tianjia village of Sanhe township to Shinan District.
In 1956, the two townships of Fuxi and Maidao under the jurisdiction of Fushan Office (later the sub district office and people's commune) were assigned to the suburbs of Laoshan.
In 1963, Taixi district was abolished and its five sub district offices, including Yunan road and Nancun Road, were assigned to Shinan District; in the same year, Fushan people's commune was assigned to Laoshan county.
In 1978, Fushan people's commune was rezoned into Shinan District.
In 1987, there were 14 streets.
In May 2004, it was reorganized into 9 sub district offices and 1 Community Work Committee, which were badaxia sub district, Yunan road sub district, Zhongshan Road sub district, Badaguan sub district, Zhanshan sub district, Hong Kong Middle Road sub district, badahu sub district, Jinmen road sub district, Zhuhai Road sub district and Jiangsu Road Community Work Committee, with 78 community neighborhood committees.
In June 2008, Jiangsu Road Community Work Committee was changed to Jiangsu Road street.
In March 2011, some small-scale communities in badaxia, Yunnan Road, Zhongshan Road, Badaguan, Jinmen road and Zhuhai Road were adjusted, reducing 13 communities.
In September 2017, it took the lead in implementing the street community management system reform in the province, with the number of communities adjusted from 65 to 50.
Current situation of regionalization
As of 2018, Shinan District has 10 streets under its jurisdiction. The people's Government of Shinan District is located at 286 Ningxia road, Hong Kong middle road street.
geographical environment
Location context
Shinan District is located in the south of Qingdao city. It starts from Tuandao in the west, faces Huangdao District across Jiaozhou Bay, ends at Maidao in the East, adjoins Laoshan District, connects Shibei District in the north and faces the Yellow Sea in the south. The center is located at 120 ° 19 ′ E and 36 ° 04 ′ n, 12.7 km long from east to west and 4.8 km wide from north to south, with a total area of 30.01 square kilometers.
geological structure
Qingdao area is a part of the Ludong shield of the North China platform, located in the northeast margin of Jiaonan uplift, a secondary tectonic unit of the XINHUAXIA uplift belt. Due to the rising and denudation of the earth's crust, there is no Paleozoic strata in the territory. The main distribution strata are: the metamorphic rocks before the Sinian of the Proterozoic, the Laiyang Formation of the Jurassic of the Mesozoic, the Qingshan and Wangshi formations of the Cretaceous, and the strata of the Cenozoic. The urban strata are exposed as follows: the Precambrian Jiaonan group; the whole Paleozoic is missing; the Mesozoic strata are exposed as Laiyang Formation of Upper Jurassic, Qingshan Formation of Lower Cretaceous and Wangshi formation of Upper Cretaceous; the Cenozoic strata are widely distributed, and the strata are middle, upper Pleistocene and Holocene. The volcanic rocks of the Cretaceous Qingshan Formation are well developed and widely exposed in the area. The magmatic rocks are mainly composed of yuejishan gneissic granite of Proterozoic Jiaonan period, Aishan granodiorite and Laoshan granite of Mesozoic late Yanshanian period. Shinan District is all located on this kind of granite, the building foundation condition is good, and its structure is mainly fault structure. Since the tertiary, the uplift of fault block with relatively stable integrity is the main one, and the rising range is generally small.
topographic features
The topography of Shinan District can be divided into mountainous area, hilly area and coastal lowland area. The existing landform is mainly formed by the ancient crystalline rock basement through fault dislocation and the segmentation and erosion of river and sea water. Due to the intrusion of granite in Laoshan area for many times, the geomorphological characteristics of the area are high in Northeast and low in southwest. Controlled by the uplift and depression zone of fault block, the coastal zone developed into bay, headland, island and other coastal landforms under the scouring action of coastal fault block and sea water.
Laoshan mountain ranges extend from laoding to the southwest to the urban area of Qingdao, forming various mountains in the urban area of Qingdao. The highest mountain in the area is Fushan and the sea
